Hi all!!!

Sounds like we are all doing well!! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile been busy, and I go to bed quite early now!!! I had my 8 week scan on friday and everything is perfect!!! The baby is just under an inch and OMG how much baby changed in two weeks!!!!! The heartbeat is 177 bpm which is great and they said it will level out to about 120 around 10-12 weeks!!! Other great news was I was discharged from my clinic and handed off to my OB....Then Friday night was a little scary...I had some light spotting (following a little fooling around with DH - I know TMI)....I called the Dr. and they told me to take it easy, the pregnancy is verified (through ultrasound - told him my results from that AM) and unless I had cramping, heavy flow and passing of tissue then I didn't need to come in and just monitor it (even though he knew I would worry) THankfully it ceased and everything seems to be fine!! Anyone else have similar experience!!!!

The pictures are amazing!!!

Thank goodness everything is fine jamato - it's such a worrying time isn't it? I can't wait for my 8 weeks scan in 2 more weeks because the clinic said I would see a huge difference so I can imagine you were trilled with yours.
Jacky - I'm so chuffed you've got your ticker - great stuff, it's beautiful - it feels lovely doesn't it? It's weird looking back at old posts and seeing it on there - suddenly all the sad stuff that's gone before is beautifully decorated with a lovely ticker that makes everything so special.
Smita - I won't say any more re. my friend because she hasn't posted her news yet but it is very exciting for me because we both cycled together round 2 (after doing treatment 1 at similar times) and then round 3 she was a few weeks behind me in start dates so I will be so chuffed to see her get on here because it wouldn't have felt right if it was just me as we've been there a lot for each other and it would have felt so unfair if it worked for one of us not the other. I hope she joins us soon. There obviously is something a little bit special about the third go - I've heard a lot of people fall pregnant on the third go - maybe it takes a lot of clinics 1-2 goes to get the treatment just right?

Anyway love and hugs to everyone else - I'm goiing to have a little nap again now (my third today) - hope I still sleep tonight!

Jacky - forgot to answer you re. places - I live in Rugby but have treatment at Coventry (Walsgrave Hospital). Yes it would be great if we were in labour at same time - we'll have to swap mobile numbers for that bit!

Hi girls

Well I'm the mystery lady that Cheryl was talking about

I got a BFP this morning after doing hpt this morning (as directed by clinic) - well actually I have a confession - I did an early one on Friday  AND another one yesterday    and they were both faint +ve :D

DH is walking round absolutely stunned at the minute - I'm not much better!! Can't stop going to the loo, my head is full of about a million things, I guess it just hasn't sunk in yet!

Need to ring clinic tomorrow to confirm what to do next, guess a part of me needs to hear them tell me I'm pregnant before I really really believe that this is real and I'm not dreaming!!

I hope to get to know you all really well and Cheryl thanks for keeping me sane through my 2ww. And for being so happy for me.

Happy days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Ladies

Welcome Joanne - what great news, no wonder DH is smiling - it's fantastic news.

Jacs - I'm still eating loads of fruit and potatoes, fortunately cherries are in abundance here so I'm lucky there.

Had a hectic w/e - first time in ages we've actually done some things and now am totally exhausted, but at least we enjoyed ourselves. My parents came and stayed yesterday and last night - so much food consumed but it was worth it, we had great fun.

Smita - I'm hoping that I get the results today - this waiting around is absolute murder, I can't believe they are taking so long this time. Fingers crossed I can post some good news later.

Big hugs to all

Little P

Smita

How are you feeling - any different now you've officially entered the Second Trimester?

Does anyone else get those "I just can't be bothered" to do anything kind of days. I could quite easily crawl back into bed, get my book and stay there all day. Have I always been this lazy???

Anyway hope that you are all occupying your time and having fun.

Have just caught up with previous pages and have noticed Joanne's posting on here now - HURRAH - Congratulations - so pleased to welcome you on here - everyone is lovely and really supportive (and some are also completely mad - but lovely!)

Smita - I can't believe you're leaving us - for good reason I know and congrats to you for getting to 2nd trimester. Will you still come and visit and say hello to us? Hope so! Say hello to Kim when you're over there - she should be still in 2nd at moment.

Jacky - can't believe you still haven't found cherries - what about ordering from Sainsburys or Tescos over internet? I can't believe I bought a beautiful packet of juicy, red cherries other day and put them in back of fridge - I completely forgot about them until today and now I really fancy them, they're out of date - gutted! Still I've got another water melon although I'm goiing off that I've had so much of the stuff! Apples - I now have to peel because I've gone off the skin and I can't touch a banana at the moment - yuk - but I used to love them!! I hope I don't go off any more friut or there'll be nothing I fancy!! PS - I bet you'll get another scan at 10 weeks where as my clinic signs me off after week 8 so you'll be better off in long term because you'll have two beautiful scans wherre you'll be able to see your baby/ies. I wasn't sure what I was looking at - I was just taking my docs word for it!

How is everyone else? Brooke, Esther etc - hope everything's going really well - any more scans etc?

love and hugs, Cherylxx
