Morning everyone - hope you are all well rested - it definitely makes me feel nauseous when I am tired - I got no sleep hardly Sunday night (neighbours alarm) and I spent all day yesterday feeling sick. Feel great though this morning.
It's official - I am definitely off cherries and water melon has lost it's appeal - I am looking for the next fad. I've also finally found a pre-packed meat that is pretty healthy - I hate buying those packet meats for sandwiches that say they're 70% meat and 30% stabiliser, E1 everything, flavourings, sugar, salt etc etc but M and S do a small range of pre-packed meat that is 100%gammon, pork etc and it's lovely. It doesn't last that long but at least you know you're not filling up with chemicals. So I had a Gammon sandwich for tea last night in lovely fresh granary bread and then again for breakfast this morning - I really fancy another one now but will have to go shopping again cos I've used it all! I am so obsessed with food at moment - I am not eating a great deal - but I'm thinking about it a lot.
Lil P - any news yet? Hope it's all good news when it comes
Carlac - great news about your scan - you're one week ahead of me - when you go for your 9 week scan, I go for my 8 week scan -- can't wait
Smita - hope all is still goiing well - are you still resting at your mothers?
Jamato - how are you?
Joanne - think Zita West does a follow up book about pregnancy 'Natural Pregnancy' I think it's called - my acupuncturist told me to get it as it covers nutrition etc and tells you best things to eat in each trimester - haven't got it yet myself so don't know what it's like.
Hi Esther - nice to here from you, you mustv be nearing your 12 week scan now aren't you? Or am I getting mixed up. Smita's instructions are spot on for ticker - just watch which box you cut and paste - I think it's the first (top) of three when you get to final page. Just follow the codes she said to look for something with pph in and you'll get the right one.
Jacs - forget the cherries - they're passed their best now - all sqaudgy and not sweet and crunchy. I got some from m and s yesterday and it was the biggest let down ever. Tell me if oyu do find any deliciuos ones anywhere. I would probably drive to Wales for a sweet, crunchy cherry!
Hope I haven't misssed anyone,

Cherylxx

Cheryl all that talk about food has made me hungry again!!! I think I shall have to eat some more. Little and often I've been told and I have to agree it does help stem off the nausea.

Still no news - watching that phone like a hawk!!!

Esther - your ticker looks great - it's really nice to keep an eye on how far people are. Have you booked your 12 week scan yet?

I've got to get on and do some housework today - I've put it off for that long that there is now dust gathering on the dust - eek and I've always been so house-proud!!

Hope you are all munching happily

Little P

Hi everyone

Just got back from the clinic - got letter to take to GP to get things moving and also to get more pessaries.

I haven't got a definite date for scan - it could be Friday 26th August or some time the following week by which time I'll be between 7-8 weeks. Dunno why they don't scan at 6 weeks. It's also an abdominal scan which means I need a full bladder   (how can I hold it in?!?!)

She talked about ante-natal screening and asked what our thoughts were - told her I don't have any thoughts at the minute, am on another planet still trying to let this news sink in

Anyway hope you are all feeling ok, have to say this afternoon I do feel very tired again and slightly nauseous but other than that fine.

Cheryl - have to say granary bread sounds rather nice, could fancy some of that myself

LP - any results yet??

Esther - cool ticker!!! I can't wait to do one of my own but think maybe it's a bit too early?!

Smita - hope you are getting plenty of rest at your mums  :D

Jacs - how are you feeling?

Carlac - read the news about your scan, I am so impatient I can't wait for mine!!!!!

Everyone else - hope you are all feeling ok

Hi Ladies

Well I finally caved in and phoned the hospital. They have got my results, but they were with Mr T so she wasn't sure if they were up or down. She did say, however, the longer it takes Mr T to make a decision usually is a good sign that the levels are low. He tries to get back to people with raised levels as quickly as possible, so fingers crossed my levels have gone down and no more IVIGs will be needed. As long as Little One is growing and happy I don't care :D

Joanne - I know it seems like a long wait, but 26 August will be here before you know it and you will get to meet your little one/s. Can't wait to hear your news as well :D

How are you all feeling today?

Ladies Hie

Hope you all had a lovely day.

Joanne- it never sinks in does it . Even myself in my 12th wk It stil hasnt sunk in. Iam stil in a denial phase but deep down my heart Iam thrilled. Just enjoy your pregnancy and hope for the best.

Cc- You are right its my 12wk scan coming. How are you doing today, hope you are doing great. You made me lol with your food obsession, I wish I was like you, the only thing Iam friendly with these days are mangoes. So if your appetite allows please eat for two.

LittleP- Thats great news to hear, you must be relieved, we will keep praying for Mr T to deliver good news. As for my 12wk scan, My 1st appointment with the midwife is this coming friday Iam not sure whether she will do the scan that day or she has to book another day. I cant wait to see how babs has grown.

Everyone hope all is well with you. I spent my whole day in bed, boy I must be laziest pregnant woman around.

Hi all

Well I am off to see my GP today to take the letter and get things moving. DH is away with work today so my mum is coming with me as I seem to be rather forgetful and a bit scatter brained at the moment

Ultimatemama - congrats on your news, I'm hoping August turns out to be a really good month for everyone on this site, everyone is so nice and supportive!!!

Cheryl - how are you?? Any new food cravings?? You set me off for granary bread, I went to the shop thinking I could eat something REALLY nice for treats and what did I buy.........erm ginger snap biscuits and Jacobs cream crackers  :?

LP - good news about your results, like the clinic said if they were concerned in any way you would have known by now. Hope you took it easy with the housework, I am allowed to dust but only if I don't bend or stretch. DH is doing everything else (albeit not to my high standard  ). My mum is fussing terribly always telling me to take it easy, don't do this, don't do that etc etc!

Smita - great news about dh visit - bet that was a wonderful surprise for you!!!

Hope the rest of you ladies are feeling ok today?

Morning All

Smita - I can almost see that smile from here :D - what a lovely surprise, enjoy your days together.

Welcome Ultimatemama - good to have you on this thread. Enjoy this time - although it brings many new anxieties, it is a wonderful, wonderful gift :D

Housework was just a bit a quick hoovering - nothing strenuous. DH does all the lifting and hard stuff now, he's a trooper :D

Looks like another beautiful day is on the cards - isn't it great?

So, what does today bring for you all?
