Joanne

I really hope that you are ok - have you spoken to the hospital yet. Remember some women do have a bleed during their pregnancy but the baby is fine - hold onto that.

With love and hugs and prayers

How is everyone else doing today?

I'm still indulging in loads of fruit and potatoes, but other than that nothing really to report.

What's happening with you all?

Smita, I hope that you are ok. I know it's sad that DH has had to go away again - how long till he's back?

Hi all,
Joanne, am getting anxious.. I pray you and your baby are ok..
Little P,
I'm ok right now.. trying to think of other things than that he was here, hugging and holding me till this morning..It has to be the hormones..keep crying.. dh will come back in abt 40 days and stay for a week. will count down to that..sadly we have chosen to have treatment here in India so I HAVE to stay here for the whole process.. considering I'm spotting, we're not too sure abt the medical treatment in Bahrain- (actually, having gone thru doctors there, we're pretty sure its not good enough! )
Today I'm feeling soo guilty cause to cheer myself up I ate 2 chocolate pastries and also a whole plate of fries- not good not good.. it is not a craving, but i guess what they call comfort eating!
And amworried all of a sudden that the baby is not ok, cause I feel fresh today as opposed to the tiredness I feel normally- I hope everything is ok..
How are the rest?
Wheres cheryl?

Don't worry about the baby - the little one is fine. All the books I have read say that towards the beginning of the second trimester your body takes on a whole new role and you actually feel more like your old self - you have energy and a willingness to get up and go that you lost for the first 12 weeks.

Sounds to me like you've settled nicely into the second stage :D

I'm sending loads of hugs your way - each day that passes will be a day closer to DH returning.

Take care

Little P

Hi everyone

Just want to pop in and say hi and hope you are all ok.

Joanne - Im keeping everything crossed that you and the baby are ok and your clinic can help.

Cheryl - Hope you are doing ok?

Smita - Dont worry about the comfort food. If your body says it needs it, then it should be ok. I tend to prefer carbohydrates and have to keep eating something regularly to stop the nausea. The only craving I have is grapefruit juice. (Had to take it on holiday with me!) I have exactly the same feelings re worrying about the baby. I dont think this will go away until our babies are born.

Little P, Jacky, and everyone else - hope you are all doing ok.
Does anyone know how Clare is doing? Im sure she should be 2nd trimester by now. I dont think ive missed any posts.

Take care everyone.

Hi everyone - hope everyone's doiing great - I'm sorry I've been a stranger for last two days - have been feeling rubbish and internet was playing up and I felt too rubbish to fiddel with it. I don't feel sick or anything just weird - it's hard to explain - just feel ill and want to be in bed all the time.
Lil P - hope you've finally heard from clinic and they're not putting you off till Mon
Smita - sorry DH is away again - it must be really difficult but just think - next time you're with him, you'll be x number of weeks more pregnant which is really exciting and he must miss you (and little one) like mad which makes coming home all the more lovely!
Jacs - not long now till scan - once you get past this weekend it'll fly - I'm so excited for you - it'll be fantastic so don't worry
Joanne - I'm so worried about you - not because I think anything's goiing to go wrong, just because I know what you feel like and I wish you could get some relief from the wait - yours and Jacs clinic are really mean making you wait till 8/9 weeks but you must kepp strong and remember that you're goiing to see so much more than 6 weekers see. P.S - Weird thing about 'getting to know you' game we have an awful lot in common - fave hol Florida (honeymoon) and if we have a girl she's likely to be Emily and we have a dog called Jack - how weird is that?!!
Jamato - great to hear from you again and it's lovely to know that you're doiing so well
Carlac - how are you, haven't heard from you in a while?
Esther - How's 2nd trimester feeling you lucky thing?!
K - great to hear from you again - thanks for thinking of me

fave food~~ Fruit (at moment)
fave drink~~ Red Martini and lemonade (not at moment though!)
fave film~~ Anything with Steve Martin and / or Goldie Hawn
fave holiday~~ Florida (Honeymoon)
fave place~~ Coombe Abbey (where we got married)
fave animal~~ Dogs / dolphins
pets/names~~ 1 dog called Jack (9 yrs old, Staffordshire Bull Terrier)
ambition in life~~ To write a book (and be a wonderful mum)
things that make u cry~~ Beautiful sights, songs, babies (in good way)
where u live~~ Cawston (just outside Rugby) in Warwickshire (15 mins from Coventry, 25 mins from Birmingham, 20 mins from Northampton) quite countrysidey - do like it here
kind of house~~ detached house on new 'village' estate
fave thing in ur life~~ everything (can't pick)
best friend~~ Wendy
family life~~ Youngest child 1 older brother
hobbies~~ Dancing, Singing, directing, reading, walking with my dog, writing
hated thing~~ Men on cars!!
fave baby names~~ Have been through Lauren / Charlie / Megan / Austin - they were our first two lots of embryos and this time we didn't name but after pregnancy test have talked about Emily (Mary Ann) for a girl and Daniel (William) for a boy but who knows?!
fave colour (s) - Gold
fave tv programme - 'Lost' (at moment) or 'Extras' - it's fantastic!
Earliest memory - weeing myself at ballet class when I was 2 and wetting my beautiful brand new red ballet shoes!
Most embarrassing incident - There have been plenty but one that particularly sticks in mind is when me and friend were on holiday in Majorca walking (tottering) down street all tarted up when I was 16. There was group of lads shouting to us and wolf whistling so I looked up at them and walked along smiling and swinging my hips only to miss the change in pavement height beneath feet! I went flying down covered in dust and as I got back up my boob tube ended up round my waist with my boobs on show to the world - needless to say boys howled and took micky then tuned their atttention on someone more worthy and less embarrassing! I scuttled away and went and got very drunk!

Anyway - I'll be on tomorrow to catch up with anything new - have great evening everyone - anyone watching Big Brother?

Cherylxx

Hi All

I phoned again yestereday and they said that they would try and get back to me with the results - guess what, nothing. So, again it's a waiting game till Monday.

I guess no news is good news so I should be happy, but just wish they would let us know one way or the other. DH and I are trying to book and holiday and don't want to commit to anything until we know that we can definitely make the dates.

Cheryl - good to have you back, sorry you're not feeling great, but glad you are ok otherwise.

Take care all

Little P

LP - good luck with your results hope they come back ok

Girls
I am writing this to say goodbye to both this side of the board and the forum itself.

I miscarried last night and I just feel (certainly at the minute) that I have hit the end of the road as far as IVF is concerned.

I hope everything goes really well for you all and am sure I will check in on you from time to time, but for now I want to concentrate on sorting our lives out. We are moving house due to DH's job and think it could be the fresh start we need.

Thankyou for all your kind words and support
