Hie Girls

I nearly cried yesterday when i visited my midwife hoping to see my baby. But she is on holiday , the locum one couldnt do much for me other than writing down my name and promise to do a home visit within the next two weeks, Noooooooooooooooo thats not what i want, all i want is a scan, well the nearest one they could book for me is on the 6th of Sept as i will be 16wks+. I am not happy at all.

How is everyone, myself am doing great and happy that iam in my 2nd trimester now. I dont really post all the time bcoz everyday after work I wil be so tired all i think about is my bed.

Smita- Have you recovered now from seeing DH go, I hope you are taking it easy now, remember not to stress yourself too much as your baby will feel it as well. Have you come off the progrsterone yet, iam preparing to stop them now and i feel like i need them for the whole 9months as iam so completely dependant on them now.

Jacs- not long now before you see your baby, how are you feeling.

LittleP- How are you doing, no results yet, we put everything to the one above. We have a yakky weather today here in Bedfordshire hope its not like this in your area as well.

Jamato- Nice to know your spotting is better and congratulations on your scan, you must be vhappy.

Cheryl- hie, hope you are in good strenght today.

Ultimatemama- Congratulations on your BFP and welcome to the thread.

Wardley- Congrats you have made it to the 2nd trimester I will be joining you soon after a few more days as iam quite comfortable with everybody here.

K- It was nice to hear from you again, you must be big by now.

Hope I havent missed anyone.

Esther

Congrats on getting to the second stage - a major relief I am sure. I can't believe they are making you wait so long to see your little one, that's not fair - don't they realise how reassuring those scans are?

Weather here has just taken a downward slump - rain is pouring and the sky is very bleak - well, at least the garden will be happy :D

Hope you are all doing alright today - big hugs all round.

Hi all,
Esther, 12 weeks.. congrats!!
Been feeling very low since i heard Joanne's news-just keep thinking abt how fleeting everything is- I know I shd think positive, but cant help the negative feelings either..
Anyway, Esther have stopped the progesterone pessaries since 2 weeks and now am on injections once a week..
the heparin i'm continuing, but thats daily..
Spotting still happening..today more than the normal, so i kept going to the bathroom to check
Have a nice weekend all!

I know she probably won't read this but I am sending a special prayer to Joanne and her DH. It feels like we've shared this journey for a long time and I am absolutely devastated for her. I hope she finds a way through and maybe opens herself up to further chances in the future if she feels strong enough. It reminds me of how important the tiniest things are - I am never going to worry again - I just want to be grateful for each day however long this journey lasts. Joanne, if you're listening - thank you for being my treatment buddy - it's meant so much sharing things together. I pray that you get everything you wish for your future - I have faith that you will. Thinking of you always,
Love and hugs, Cherylxx

It's me again. I'm new to thread and hadn't logged on in days. Just caught up on everyone and my heart is just aching!

Joanne- I pray that you find the peace you so deserve in your life and that God will point you down the path that you need to head next.

Smita- I am sorry that you have to be with out your sweet hubby right now. I know you will be strong but it's okay to cry too!

Little P- You will truely be a woman of patience when it is all said and done! Then again we hopefully all will!

I'm sure I have forgotten someone. The names are so new to me! So...

To all the rest of you ladies: Remember that each of us are blessed with miracles in our lives. Recognize that you are individually significant and important! You are awesome! Let's celebrate the miracle inside of each of us and stop wondering how long it will stay a miracle. Remember PMA's!

To let you get to know me better, I am adding the "get to know me" list below. As I am from the US, I wonder if some of my favorites will seem strange to you. I know that some of your favorite TV shows... I had never heard of them before!! And what do y'all mean by a detached house? It is a term I am not familiar with.

fave food~~ (currently) green apples with sharp cheddar cheese slices
fave drink~~ cranberry juice with a squeeze of fresh lime
fave film~~ Cheaper By the Dozen was so great! Maybe beacuse I dream of having a dozen of my own one day!
fave holiday~~ Cruise to the Bahama's (honeymoon)
fave place~~ The LDS Temple where my husabnd & I were married
fave animal~~ Dog
pets/names~~ We have no pets currently
ambition in life~~ To be a sane and wonderful Mom!
things that make u cry~~ beautiful music, sappy movies, hugs & kisses from my little ones when I least expect them!
where u live~~ Bentonville, Arkansas, USA...Home to the global headquarters of Wal~Mart. Lots of trees and green grass. It's not quite country but it's not exactly suburbia either! I live in a lovely neighborhood with sweet neighbors and lots of children riding bicycles about.
kind of house~~ 5 bedroom, 3 bath House
fave thing in ur life~~ God, My husband and my Children...in that order.
best friend~~ My husband Thomas
family life~~ Oldest Daughter...3 brothers and 1 sister
hobbies~~ Reading, Decorating (house design), Excersizing, laughing with friends!
hated thing~~ People who chew loudly or with their mouths open
fave baby names~~ Gavin / Reagan
fave colour (s) - Green and then yellow
fave tv programme - Lost
I have too many embarassing moments to pick one!

Well, I am signing off for now and intend to return very soon to see that you are all doing well!

Am I the laziest person ever - - oh well, I've enjoyed lying around doing nothing today and I shall continue.

I do hope that you are all ok.

Smita I hope that things are looking better, remember you are through the most traumatic 12 weeks so keep holding onto the fact that your little one means to stay for the duration. Hope you're feeling ok.

Still very, very tired and so I shall probably rest up today - any excuse!!!

Big hugs to you all.

Little P

Hi all,
feel better now-said my prayers, went for a walk-the weather is glorious..
It feels good to be alive on some days- I mean, everything seems so pretty some days so one just feels good to be a part of it..
Went thru 2 bars of choclate- fruit and nut..yes I'm feeling guilty, tomorrow I'll exercise better control on my tongue!!
But am taking advantage of having the liberty to eat what I want now! :)
Cheers,
Smita

Smita, eat away - I am. DH is making me pancakes galore at the moment. I've always liked them, but suddenly can't imagine life without a pancake in it!!!

Still haven't done anything today except lie around and relax - what fun!!

Well, tomorrow is Monday and I'm hoping (maybe a silly hope I know) that the hospital will phone and finally give me those blasted results. Patience is a virtue I have never been graced with, but recently I have had to learn what it is all about :D

Hope you are all having an enjoyable Sunday

Morning All

Carlac - Just to let you know, there is a condition (which is basically severe morning sickness) that causes dehydration. My friend had it and was taken into hospital for 5 days because she couldn't retain food so they put her on a drip. She gave birth to a healthy and wonderful little boy 3 weeks ago.

I know it isn't twins, but thought it might help to know.

Jacs - just 24 hours and you'll be there. I know it seems like a long wait, but believe me it'll be worth it :D

Hope you are all ok. I'm on for yet another lazy day. Rest and more rest

Big hugs to you all

Hi Carlac,
Dont worry abt the twins as dehydration can only affect you..the babies will be fine..have friends(pregnant with singles) who've had severe morning sickness and were admitted, but were out of hospital in 4 days and now proud parents too..
Just follow docs advice..and good luck!

Wahoo

I've got my results:

My levels are fine (yeh :D ) and Mr T wants to see me for a scan on Thursday - can't wait :D

They will have to do regular checks on my levels just to keep an eye on them, but for the time-being no IVIG.

I'm smiling like a Cheshire cat at the moment - DH is over-the-moon.

Big hugs
