Hello gals!

I've just spent the day laying around with my mother and shopping. What better way to get back in a good place mentally!

Her 50th bday is this week, and I'm throwing her a party with all of her buddies on Saturday, so my mind should be busy with all the preparations.

i know what u mean im 24 and have been trying to concieve since i waz 21 ive been with my partner 10yr on the 6thnov and we just felt it was right to try all my friends started to say the same relax try not to think about it or your trying to hard. I know they all meant well but that just didnt help. i seem to have had every test going n all embarissment of my private parts infront of strangers is so unfair. I start my first IVF in nov but start taking drugs at start of oct. I have already had 3 atempts at IUI which failed i use to be scared of needles not anymore

Good luck with your first IVF, it should be around the same time that I'll be doing my next IUI.

I like your new ticker. Bright and colourful..
The birthday party planning sounds like a good distraction..will hopefully keep your mind off tmt for a bit..meeting people, even if they are inquisitive and rude and insensitive , always gets my mind off myself..In fact the ruder and insensitiver(I know thats not a word!!) they are, the better I feel!(reverse psychology works for me i guess!)

Good luck with your ivf next month. I am just waiting for results from my 2nd iui..... Not feeling very sure of a positive though......

Whats your history? Why didnt the iui work for you???

Just went thru your introduction on the intro forum..
Like Nicki, Iwant to know whether your doctor has any idea why your iui's failed.. because i had 4 failed iui's before i went in for ivf- the reason was my tubes are not in good shape..
So are you going to try again in the near future..

I have just called my clinic who said I should re test in 48 hrs. (Fri am) if the same situation is going on..... Failing that they will do a blood test on friday pm for me......

So watch this space I might be pregnant............

Apparently it's quite normal to have browny discharge and mild cramps and still be preg........So now I am praying thats the case.

but sence the clinic wants t to re test have you thought about doing another one?

Clinic wants me to re test on fri, with a hpt.

then if still negative and still no Af they will do blood test, then I wont get results til Tues

Hi everyone.

Nicki, I had browny discharge before testing positive plus lots of AF cramps which I am still having. (hope this helps keep up the PMA).

Hope everyone else is doing ok especially those who have had mean BFN's and disapointments.
