Morning everyone

Thought I would pop in and say hello. I am off work again as I can't stop being sick. Having acupunture this afternoon, I hope this will help.

Carlac - sorry your feeling rough too, have you got any advice for stopping sickness?

I hope the rest of you ladies are blooming??

Morning all

Sorry that you're both having the dreaded morning sickness. Jacobs cream crackers, ginger biscuits, peppermint tea are all recommended in the book I have - you never know they might help.

Can't believe the difference in the weather - the w/e was absolutely beautiful and now today the rain has come back in - oh well can't complain.

Hope all you other ladies are ok.

Morning all - gosh it is quiet lately - I think everyone must be suffering. I feel a bit of a fraud cos I don't have any symptoms whatsoever (stopped even metally taste about 10 days ago) but as scan was fine I'm obviously just lucky. Nurse said I should make the best of it and stop worrying. My latest need is a posh hotel afternoon tea complete with tiny salmon sandwiches and scones like you get in the Savoy. Problem is, there's nowhere near me where I could get one and its just not the same if you make it yourself. I've been craving it since watching Poirot on weekend - you'd think it would put me off - all that murder and poison but it really made me fancy one!
Congrats to Debbie for BFP - I think we cycled around same time for treatment 2 so it's great to see you on here. Hope you enjoy your scan - long time to wait but all worth it - it'll be magic when you get to it.
Olivia - I'm so glad you're on here now - I'm sure someone will have some tips for you as there's been a lot of sickness on here. Sounds stupid but I am jealous - I'd love to feel such a definite sign of pregnancy - don't slap me - I know you're probably the opposite! It's like the old curly hair / straight hair thing - whichever you are, you'd quite like the other! Who did you go with in end for acuppuncture? How did you find it? It's been a god send for me - always gets even better after treatment - you might not feel a lot straight away and then a little later think 'wow, that's really calmed me down'.
Hi to Carlac - hope you're not suffering too badly.
Smita and Little P - hope you're enjoying you're new thread - it's nice that you keep popping back in too.
Did anyone ever hear anything else from HM and others? Really hope all is goiing well for them.
Off to hunt down hotels with afternoon teas!

Cheryl

Hope you found your cream tea - strange these desires we get aren't they

I haven't heard anything from HM, Gen (Wardley) or Jamato or a long time - girls if you're looking at this I really hope that everything is going great for you and you're ok.

How are all you other mums-to-be?

I'm off for a quick lie down!!!

Take care all

Hello All,
It's nice to be here on this thread at long last. I haven't got any real symptoms yet - although I have not had any appetite for a few days now and I do feel slightly queezy (could just be the stress and excitement though). It's interesting to read how oothers have reacted so that I know what to expect.
Going back to work on Wednesday - been off since before EC so will have LOADS to catch up on. Not really looking forward to it, but I guess time will go quicker then.
Hope that those of you who do feel very sick get better soon.
Thanks for you support

Love
Debbie

Morning all - did get my cream tea but wasn't exactly what I'd imagined - mum brought round some scones, cream and a tin of salmon! We had salmon sandwiches with crusts cut off and scone, strawberry jam and cream but it just didn't taste how I'd imagined and its turning my stomach a bit now thinking about it!! Back to the fruit I think - I'm quite into nectarines at moment. I noticed HM posted on another thread about Welsomething and she says she's pregnant with triplets - wow - things must be goiing really well for her. Still don't know where some of others are - hopefully all doiing well though. I might go quiet for a few days towards end of week cos I'm off to Usk for my cousins wedding (anywhere near you Jacs?). Have good Tues everyone,

Afternoon ladies

I am feeling a bit better this afternoon, it's the first time i've felt hungry in weeks. Cheryl - I had my acupunture yesterday and really enjoyed it, perhaps thats why I feel better!! I also like the idea of nectarines and fresh fruit juice too.
I found I have completely gone off all the things I normally like such as coffee and even chocolate!! and have started liking weird things like earl grey tea.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Hello all! Thank you guys for welcoming me! It is so hard to get through all of your posts, but I love them! It feels so good to come here knowig that I can talk to people that are actually going through what I'm going through. Well...my hcg level more than doubled every 48 hours since my first hcg level and I am now 696 as of Monday! I feel so relieved.
My nurse told me at this point they aren't requiring me to take any further blood test because they are comfortable with the numbers. BUT, for peace of mind, I could next week. However, my best friend and another nurse said to just wait for the first scan on September 6th. And advice?

Cyra,
Good going on the hcg levels..
Abt re-testing those,it all depends on what gives one peace of mind.. if its not too expensive, then perhaps u can get it done to reassure yourself, though those levels sound just fine to me..
Good Luck!
Jacs,
sorry u r having a bad time with diahorrea..hope you and your tushy feel better soon..
Cheryl,
enjoy the wedding!
Debbie,
welcome to this side!!hope work isnt going to stressful for u..

Thanks for the reassurance, Smita! This morning while putting in my estrogen suppositories, the usu. bright blue discharge was darker, which is probably scant brown discharge. It wasn't enough to wipe, and my pantyliner shows only bright blue! So, should I be worried? :?

Cyra,
Not sure abt suppositories, but I was using progesterone pessaries(down the front route!!) for 12w after bfp, and each time i put them in, my fingers would come out stained with dark brown blood whih would worry me always and even my pantiliner would get stained, the baby was doing fine inside though..If your pantiliner is unstained with brown/pink, then I wouldnt think to worry, and definitely not if its a one off incident. Being a worry wart, i would call and check with my clinic if it continued!
There, wasnt I a big help??!
take care..

Hey Ladies,

Sounds like y'all are havin' the regular ups and downs of pregnancy. Me too! I have been so emotional the past few days, crying about everything! My nausea has started to kick in and I am sooo...tired. I have been taking naps everyday after I put my two boys down for their naps. The nap time is never long enough. All of this I realize is part of the miracle groing inside.

Tomorrow (Friday) is my first scan. I will get to find out how many! Hoping everything will look good and anxious to know what planning my future holds. Will it be one...two or three? I am driving myself crazy thinking about it.

Having crazy dreams at night when I fall asleep. Anyone else experience these wild dreams/nightmares yet?

TTFN
Tah! Tah! For Now

Ultimate mama,
Good luck with your scan tomorrow!
Cyra, saw your post on sore bb's, mine have become progressively less sore since the ET plus theres no darkening also..
In fact am worried about having no signs at all of pregnancy..
Its a long wait until the 9th for my next scan.. thinking of getting one in between..
Cheryl,Jacs,Debbie,Olivia hope you all are doing fine..

hugs,
smita
