Can't believe it, I am 11.5 weeks although this was a rough week...I woke up with bleeding on Tuesday...Baby is just fine and I was told that it was a chorionic bleed....Anyone else share a similar experience???

Hi jamato,
Sounds like you had a scary time..
I had spotting daily- brown discharge which turned red on few occasions right until last week..Thankfully the baby was ok..
Take lots of rest.
Good to see you posting..
cheers,

THanks SMita,

It was tough but I was glad to see my little special one is doing just fine and is utimately unaffected by my mommy issue....I must find the wrong times to post, cause while anyone else has been in a scary place and posted questions to this board the get multiple responses, but each time I have posted I usually get like one maybe two responses

Hi Jamato,
Its just that as its the weekend, people might have gone out with dh's or friends- especially as its a long weekend in the UK where this site is based I think..Or, no one has had this kind of a scare, so dont know what to say..
Anyway, I'm sure once the girls see your posts, its bound to get a response..
Take care,
Cheers,
Smita

Hi Jamato

Just wanted to say hello when I read your post. Ive not heard of a chorionic bleed, so cant help on that subject im afraid. I think its as Smita says, that people dont reply because they dont know the answer. It is also a bank holiday weekend in the UK, so maybe they are all away! (Not like me and DH-stuck doing DIY!). I have noticed its been quieter than normal on this thread, maybe they are all suffering from nausea/other problems etc. I hope you are feeling ok now after your scare. Its great news that the babys ok, very reassuring. Will see you on the 2nd trimester very soon! (When you'll no doubt go through even more worries like the rest of us!).
Take care
Love Kim

Hope you other girls are ok. Cheryl and Jacs-not seen you post for a while-hope you are both ok.

hi girls
sorry i havnt posted for ages i dont know where the days go....iv felt so crappy these past days i dont even turn the comp on
i seem to get up bout 9.30/10 have some brekky do a little housework.. watch baby baby or somethings iv recorded from night before ..3pm i feel so drained go for a lay down bout 4.. get up bout 7 have something to eat forcefully.. watch a bit more tv and ready for bed anytime after 9 then up and down mostly thru the night for a wee and been having upset tummy probs so normally that starts anytime from 11 till bout 3am.
i did venture out to work last thurs for a chat and they basically said they would support me for how ever long i wanted to stay on the sick..personel had worked it out that with my maternity leave and holidays im owed that i could finish work in dec anyways... as my job is demanding in lots of ways they understood that id been trying for this baby for so long that no risk was to be taken.
iv worked for this supermarket for over 9 years and not sure im going to go back when babs is born... i was relieved when i came out of there and happy for the support they were offering me but a little upset that i might not work with my friends again... but then wot ill have at the end of it will be worth far more i realize that and i will still see my friends just not serve meat and cheese with them again
jamato i cant comment on the bleeding because iv only had a little amount and still not sure it came from the front.... it seems we all have few problems and every little thing we always think omg "the baby" but we have to understand there strong and keep remembering that.... as i said i have an upset tummy most nights and everytime i go to the loo i stupidly think omg wot if i strain and push too hard it mite come out ... stupid i know but us mummys to be cant help but worry.
cheryl hope ur weddings gone ok and ur feeling fine any symptoms yet?? im still not having any sickness maybe the week our eggs were put back was a good week and we wont get any lol
smita how long till dh comes home again??? hard for u hun ill bet

Got my first scan yesterday and we are pregnant with one beautiful baby. I am so excited!! I was a little nervous about the potential of multiples. One strong heartbeat is all I needed to see.

My DH and children are just as excited as me. My oldest daughter Libby (9 yrs old) is a bit disappointed b/c she wanted twins. I told her that she could hold this baby twice as much to make up for it!

I've gotta run! I Don't have much time, I've got lots going on with the family today. Just wanted to fill you in.

Leslie aka Ultimatemama

Hi everyone- can I join you over here? I just got a BFP yesterday from a FET!! Feeling really stunned and still pretty nervous about talking about it just in case - you know!! I have no idea how pregnant I am as I didn't ask for HCG levels as I was too surprised - so I'm going to call them later. I've got a scan on 12th Sept - really nervous about that too! Oh well I expect that's just the way it goes from now on.
Hope all of you are doing okay and hope to get to know you all better, love Vicky

Vicky

CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP and welcome to the first trimester.

Don't worry about feeling shocked - I reckon we all had that reaction when we got the results :D

How are you feeling today?

Hi Little P

How are you doing? I feel fine - v. achy boobs, indigestion & bloatedness but all in really nice way! I tried to call the hospital earlier to find out my HCG level but they were engaged so I'll try later. This may be a really stupid question but are you pregnant from the date of the ET (which would make me two wks pregnant) - just can't work out some of the dates I've seen compared with pregnancy dates. Hope your feeling good - V. glad to see your now beyond 12wks- well done.

Love Vicky

Vicky

At your pregnancy test you are 4 weeks pregnant. If you look at the left hand side of the screen there is a pregnancy calculator under the Resources section which will help you out.

I bet you can't wait till your scan. I shall keep looking out for your HCG results.

Take care and look after yourself.
