I'm not so fine today-right now..- My best friend came down to see me for the weekend as she was missing me..(Its a 4 hour flight from the middle east to india.. she was here sunday and monday) Left last night and I cried and cried and cried.. my eyes are burning..
Its wierd, but I was thinking of Dh and how I miss him so much when I cried last night..Seeing her made me feel so alone here..
Dh calls daily, chats with me every evening on the net and we even hook up a web-cam to see each other, BUT IT STILL IS NOT the same as being together..
I guess I shd only count myself lucky that he can visit me at least..
And that we have this baby to look forward to, but you know something  I feel I love dh more than I love this baby...
Is that sick of me?
I mean we both want this baby so much, but...
God what a self indulgent whinge!
Please cyber-slap me!
Am planning to go take a scan tomorrow or thursday to see if baby is still ok..When I feel negative, I worry that God will take him/her away from me cause I'm such a complainer instead of counting myself lucky..
Other than that, I had a Fabulous time these past couple of days..Was a Lovely change catching up with my friend..
Thank you all for listening,
I'll be back to my cheery(but worried) self next time, I promise!
Love,
smita

Hi Smita

Im sorry you are feeling so down. I miss my DH even if we are only apart one night, so Im not surprised that you feel so lonely. I think been pregnant makes you feel more vulnerable as well (It does me, anyway!), its when our DH's should be able to look after us and pamper us, its such a life changing (and scary!) event. It's only normal to let off steam and please feel free to do it here! You are so supportive to everyone else on this website, you also deserve the same support, so just rant when you need to! (I know I feel better letting it all out. It's healthier than keeping everything in!) Anyway, you wouldnt be human if you didnt have negative feelings at times.
Look after yourself

Thanks Kim,
I'm fine now..Just indulging in self-pity at that time I guess! :D
Hope your scan goes off well..When is it this week?
Is the DIY kitchen over?
Hows everyone today?
Take care all of you!

Big hugs sweetie - never apologise for needing a "me" moment, I totally understand what you are saying as, like Kim, when DH is away for one night I'm a complete mess!!!

Take care of yourself and your baby.

Kim - good luck with the scan - are you going to find out whether it's a boy or a girl?

Hi Little P,
Thanks for the hugs..I really need them.. Today has been pretty emotional!
Evrytime dh calls I start crying! He's been calling a lot today as he's worried abt me- now I've told him not to call until evening!
I know you all understnad, but 'me' moments seem so selfish- and to re read them later makes one feel like such a tantrum throwing brat..
I thought all the emotions going haywire was over by now!!
Anyway,
will be normal tomorrow..Thank you all..
I really thank you all- i mean, you all give me strength when I need support and even while I post it takes my mind off my situation.
To think I was scared of posting 3 months or so back cause I was worried abt being Indian so would face turn-offs!!
Jessica,
I have a lot of energy on most days- enough to setme wondering if I'm still pregnant!! cause I dont feel the need to nap on and off..
How are you all??
Love,
smita

Jessica

Welcome to the second trimester - the first big sigh of relief!!!

Smita

Good on you girl - keep that PMA full and when you're feeling low again just remember what's going on inside of you and the fact that a big part of DH is with you everywhere you go :D

Hope you are all doing ok.

Big hugs and much love

Little P

No worries Smita.

Everytime DH leaves in the morning I keep thinking that I have a bit of him with me all the time so I thought I would share that thought with you - I'm glad it helped :D

Are you having another scan on Thursday - I bet you can't wait.

Take care

Hi All,

Well I am having a bout with the lower abdominal pain today - especially on my lower right (groin) side. Hurts when I change positions. Although I have no other signs to make me worry, I am worried none the less. I thought it would help to bring this up and get it off my chest.

I do find that I am much more emotional during pregnancy. Sometimes it is to my benefit and other times it is tough. I can be much more understanding of other people's needs, but can easily be walked on as well. I am a little surprised with some of my friends and how they have kind of distanced themselves from me since my pregnancy announcement. Many of them are not in the best of situations and quite a few have compromised their situations just to be with someone. As my DH says, this is the time you find out your TRUE friends. And I believe there is some truth in this. . .

I apologize for such a downer message, but feeling like the weather today - blah and gray.

Take Care All,
Sher8

Smita

Will keep everything crossed that tomorrow brings you the reassurance you need at the moment. I'm sure you'll be grinning away having seen your precious baby again.

Take care and sleep well.

Sher

Hope the pains disappear soon - I guess that's the ligament pains. I've been experiencing these weird pains down my sides and my Midwife said that it was ligament and uterus stretching pains.

Take care of yourself.

Well, I'm officially in nothing but maternity clothes now (and loving it) - I have a very obvious baby-bump which I can't stop stroking - how is everyone else growing?

Love and hugs

Little P

It's a great feeling isn't it?

I've been hiding my bump behind big baggy tops for ages, but now it's official I can wear my maternity clothes with pride :D
