Hi all

I managed to slip on the stairs last night. I lost my footing about 4 stairs from the bottom and landed on my elbow and my bottom. Poor DH was almost beside himself.

I have had some aches in my stomach but nothing really different to the last couple of days. I am trying not to think about falling or I will get paranoid about every twinge and ache.

On the plus side the bloating has gone down considerably and so has my weight - I'm nearly back to normal.

Best wishes to everyone - hope you are all ok

what is the earliest i can home test after ET? The doc won't test until 14 days after, but has anyone had success w/ a home test earlier? I can't stand the wait but i'm afraid of false negative or false positive!

Ange,
you're right not to worry abt the fall.
The embies are nicely cushioned by our bodies so a fall doesnt affect them.
I hope you're ok though.
Tibbie,
please don't test early- it only leads to heartache- the HCG thatbwould have been given to you would not be fully out of your system yet, so please wait.
I know how tempting they are, but dont indulge yourself.
A lot of wise women on this forum will tell you the same.
Take care not long to go.Just visualise your positive at the clinic!
Clair,
Keep up the PMA.
Michelle, how are you holding up?
Take care all of u

Wishing all of you the VERY BEST!
hugs,
smita

Hi all

Ange- Hope you have recovered from tour little accident. It's good that your tummy has gone down and your feeling a little comfortable.

Tibbie- DON'T DO IT. I know it's tempting but try not to, Smita's right it may cause you some unnecessary upset.

Hi to Michelle- How are you doing?

Well I started "bleeding" a bit yesterday, well it was only when I wiped myself but it was a lot more than last time and it was "fresher" can't explain not proper AF blood. Anyway had it most of night and a small bit this morning, I feel really uncomfortable and bloated. I got myself into a right state last night convinced myself that , that was it, game over. I didn't realise how upset I am going to be if this fails. I had really geared myself up and although I knew I would be upset if it failed I was determined not to fall apart. DH gave me a good talking too this morning about not giving up as it's not a proper bleed. I'll ring clinic this morning and see what they say. Going to take it easy this morning. Fingers crossed.

Morning ladies

Clair - Smita and your DH are right you must keep up the PMA and rest as well. What did the clinic say?

Tibbie - Please dont test too early from what I have read on the other threads, it just is not worth it - give your body time to give you the right result.

Smita - you, Little P and the other ladies that hang around this thread just because, are a constant source of good advice and inspiration - thank you!

AJ - I was offered one round of treatment on NHS at Barts.
I live in Benfleet.

I feel ok today except for a pain in the a***!! I have a huge multicolour bruise where I fell over (or should I say landed ! ) the other day

Very best wishes to everyone
Ange

Hi all

Clinic have said to"try not to worry"? They said it could be a small bleed from all the prodding and poking around last week and the uncomfortable bloating/AF pains could be my ovaries shrinking back. Just rest, rest, rest,.

Didn't sleep very well last night so I might go back to bed this afternoon for an hour. Thank you for your support.

take care

Hi Septembies (great name LittleP :D )
I was working on Wednesday and Thursday and got a day off today, back to work Saturday and Sunday. I'm so tired. It's been a rough 2 days at work, not been feeling too good at all but i just got on with it and was in a fair bit of pain at home afterwards so just flaked on the couch both nights. I'm still having the stabbing pains and also AF type cramps, feel quite nauseous during the day aswell. I think AF will show up on time on Tuesday, noticed my usual pre-AF spots on my chin this morning. I'm contemplating testing on Tuesday (a day early) if there's no sign of AF when i wake, i know i shouldn't but i'm just not feeling positive at all, in fact, i was so tempted to do it this morning, i'm on a natural FET no drugs at all, so i know there is no chance of a false positive but i decided against it. 5 very long days to go.

Clair - i know it's easier said than done but try and take your clinic's advice and try not to worry about the spotting, take it easy. Hope you have a nice nap this afternoon.

Ange - sorry to hear about your fall, i hope you're taking it easy, your bruise sounds lovely, i'm always absolutely covered in them, one of the joys of shop work i think, it's a wonder people don't think i'm a battered wife the amount i have  That's good to hear your bloating has went down, i know exactly how that feels, i had mild OHSS in my 1st cycle and it was sooooo uncomfortable, think i lived in baggy jog pants for ages.

Tibbie - how are you today? I know i said above that i'm tempted to test early, but please DON'T do it.

Wondertwo - welcome to Septembies 2ww, it's absolute torture but you are definately in the right place to share all your worries, symptoms or to just have a good old moan. How are you holding up?

Smita, Littlep and AJ, thank you for your constant encouraging posts to us 2wwers. It means so much to us all.

Chitra and Lori - good luck with your tests today and tomorrow
Jkos - i know you started to bleed and haven't seen anymore news, are you still testing tomorrow? Good luck.
My fingers are crossed for you all.
Take care all and talk to you all soon,
Lotsa love

Michelle

Michelle

just noticed you on here. I haven't been around much since my BFN in July - I was about a week after you and we had exactly the same experience, bleeding before test date, tears before bedtime. I'm amazed you've got this far already - time just flies. Anyway, don't be giving up on this cycle just cos you've got a spot on your chin! Do you want the standard pep talk on how AF pains don't mean anything - I'm sure you've given it yourself and yet it's amazing how hard it is to believe when it's your own AF pains, as I know all too well! Keep on hanging in there, less than a week to go.

Hello to all you other 2ww-ers. Hope you're doing ok.

Hiya Caroline,
Thanks for your message.
I can't believe i'm this far on again already aswell, time really has just flown by since we were 2ww'ers together.
You really made me laugh about not giving up just coz of a spot on my chin
And i do know the pep talk very well but like you said, when you go through it yourself it's hard to put it into practice.
How are you doing? Any idea when you'll be starting again?
All the best to you.
Take care and lotsa love

Hi girls,
Me again.
I done something very very silly earlier (not long after my last postings actually) I done an HPT. While waiting the 3 mins for it i started to feel really stupid and bad for doing it this early.
I thought it was a complete waste of a test.
After the 3 mins was up i went back into the bathroom and looked. There was the faintest of faint lines in the test strip.

I sent DH a text (he's at work) and he phoned me back. He's disappointed that i done it as early, i said i think i should try again tomorrow but he said to wait til after the weekend. He's now really worried and thinks this has now got my hopes up and if AF does come on Tuesday it will tear me up.

I really don't know what to think now.
I don't think i'll able to log on til after the weekend, work sucks, and we are going away for the night after i finish work on Sunday, so i will log on on Monday with any more news.
Take care all.
Lotsa love

Michelle
