Hi ladies.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Cheryl - I'm still here. I still log on most days to check how everyone is doing. I feel a bit of a fraud posting on this side. Glad everything is going well with you, we could be in labour around the same time and in the same hospital!!
My current due date is about april 14, however my midwife thinks it is earlier as she could palpate my uterus at 8 weeks (which apparently is unlikely). I have another scan at on sept 27th, it will be 7 weeks since the last one by then. Feels like a life time as I have never seen the heart beat.
Sickness is much better, which I am worried about. Can't win - worry when I sick then worry when I'm not. Think I am already a neurotic mother to be.

I bet you and jacs and excited to be entering the 2nd tri!

Debbie and Little P, I am really pleased you both have early bumps too. I am normally a size 8 and have already had to borrow some size 12 things from a friend. My boobs seem to growing as much as my belly.

Take care all

Olivia

Please don't feel like a fraud - you belong here as much as any of us.

What happened for you was wonderful and a special blessing!!! :D

Take care of yourself and let us know how you get on.

Hi Olivia

I sometimes feel because my treatment worked first time, I havent been through what a lot of other women have been through, and I do feel guilty when I read their experiences. However, we have all suffered with infertility and we all know how it feels to go through it. You qualify just as much as anyone else to be here! In fact, your story will also give hope to others that it is possible that you can still get pregnant naturally against the odds!
Take care

Hello All,
Glad to read about all of those other early bumps.

Olivia - my boobs have also grown. I have to dress smart for work but some of my blouses are begining to strain - something I've never had to worry about before!

I must admit I do like my little bump though. I find myself running my hands over it when during the day so I'm pretty sure it will become really obvious to people soon.

Looking forward to my second scan next week - want some more reassurance that things are progressing ok.

Everyone seems pretty upbeat at the moment so long may it continue.

Take care all

Love

:D Hello Ladies,

I am also too big for my jeans at six weeks!! Which I think is good - but may be too much pie!

Good to hear you are all getting lovely scans - am really looking forward to mine, felt a bit sick today - but couldn't stop smiling (sure the joy of nausea will wear off!)

Best wishes

Sharon

Hello everyone.

Hope everyone is well and i am so glad to be able to join you all at last.
Went to the doctor today to tell him and he was about as enthusiastic as akick up the bum but i dont care cos nothing can ruin my smile. I am finding that not only do my boobs ache and have done since EC and my tummy feels bloated but that i seem to have turned into the most tierd person in the world..... Before i had my BFP i put being so tierd down to doing different hours as i normally do 24hour shifts and i have been doing 9-5 mon to fri since after ET but now i know other wise, but i love it.!!!!!!
I am counting down the days till the scan (18 if anyone wants to know) because i will feel happier knowing everything is ok.
My tummy has felt achy today is that a normal thing or just my over active imagination????
My DH is being absolutly wonderful and really looking after me as are the few people who know at work ( some have guessed because i have had to move to the offices because of the risks involved with working with the boys i look after, they can become quite violent) I walk around with a smile on my face like i have some little secret, i am a sill fool...
I am a little concerned over my breasts as i am rather full shall we say in that department and they seem to be bigger already i think i am going to turn into one big boob, help!
much happiness to all
Kerry :D

Welcome Kerry

CONGRATULATIONS and here's to the next 8 months of joy for you.

All the things you have talked about sound very familiar to me - believe me that tiredness does change when you get further into the pregnancy, it's just at the moment your body is going through huge changes and using a lot of your energy as well.

Take care and avoid those "naughty" boys.

Hi all - I agree with all thats been said re. symptoms / lack of symptoms and how we all belong here Olivia - you as much as anyone else. How exciting to think we might end up at same hospital / same time! If you ever want to swap mobile numbers for texting just send me private message - don't feel you have to (lots of people like to keep a sense of privacy and anonymity on here which I fully respect) but might be quite fun as we are so close in place and dates. Jacs - did you read my earlier message re. scans? Any luck? Did midwife contact you or are you still in dark? Congrats to Kerrry and everyone else joining here - I wish I had kept a list of everyone cos I keep forgetting to speak to people - if I haven't mentioned you in ages, please don't think I'm ignoring you but my pregnant brain can't cope with remembering everyones names at once. One of these days I'm goiing to get the energy to scan back through the thread and write down all names and how pregnant they are. Has anyone heard from Ultimatemama? Hope she's doiing well,
love and hugs to all,
Cherylxx

Hi girls

Just a quick post to let you know some good news.
One of the nurses I work with scanned my tummy today with the portable bladder ultrasound machine. None of us thought for a minute we would be able to see anything but we did!! Saw a baby shaped thing and most importantly a tiny flickering heartbeat.

I feel so pleased, the machine is very poor quality compared to proper ultrasound equipment and obviously none of us are sonographers but it was definately there. can't wait for my proper scan on sept 27.

welcome to kerry. hope everyone else is having a good day.

Hi, thought I'd join this thread after lurking and the occaisional post on other topics. I got a +ive test Aug. 4 (my birthday--woo hoo) but haven't felt 100% positive myself until the second scan yesterday. We got to hear TWO heartbeats and see two little babies rolling around. Unbelieveable after two years of ttc to now have two. I graduated from the clinic and see an OB next week. I was told a midwife wasn't possible because of twins but I'm certainly not complaining at this point.

I have three year old son that we conceived naturally after one year of trying and somewhere between then and when we started trying again my body must have gone through some rapid aging. So, in a way, that's why I've felt a little insecure posting--I do already have a baby but I have to say you will never know how much you really wanted a baby until do have one. To say it's a miracle seems cliche but it just really is. It gets better every day--of course hard at times but always more than worth it.

I am so happy for everyone on this thread that they are here and I wish you all the very best.

Congratulations Beth and welcome to thread. You won't be here long - you'll be moving to 2nd trimester soon which will be lovely - Me and Jacs are about to move so lots of company for us all.
Question for everyone - is it okay to have a bath? I've avoided baths since egg transfer and I'd love one now. As I'm into 12 weeks do you think baths are now okay as the baby is a bit more established?
