Hey guys

Hope everyone is well.

Smita, I hope your time with DH was all you hoped it to be. No worries on missing my bday, I do it up rather small these days anyways.

Princess - how goes pg life? And how is DH's ankle? Poor guy.

Sorry I haven't been around much, we have a ton of people living in our house right now and not much time to ourselves.

Getting ready to start tmt, coming up fast.

Olivia, thanks for your well wishes. How goes life with you?

Hi every one! :D

i'd like to join the thread, being 23!
most of my friends dont understand why we are trying to conceive now (i am so young, i should think about myself and enjoy my youth.. bla bla bla) but DH is not that young anymore... But most of the people think that men can conceive at any age (well it is true sometimes, but i would like my children to know their father and for that, I do not want to wait another ten years!)

As most of my friends are not married or in couple, it is very difficult to speak to them about IVF and so on... So the only person I have got is my mum! And i have to say it is sometimes weird to speak about DH sperm with her!! :?
So thanks to all of you to be here!

Anyway, my next IVF ICSI is for january 2006, seems like a long time to wait...

Good luck to you all

Hi Souris!

Welcome aboard!!!

I was under 30 when i joined but now ive hit the big 30

ARGHHHH!!!!!

But age does seem to be an issue with ttc, I get told all the time i am still young but honestly i will be in my 6o's when they r in their 30's. My mum has only jusy turned 50, so thats what i think. I dont want to be a fuddy duddy mum, I want to be hip and cool when they r at school.

I will be honest and when i was 23 i was still into the clubbing scene, and getting drunk every w/end, but everyone is different huh?

I married at 25 and dh decided to start ttc first, i was very laid back and said oh it'll will happen when i get off pill, but it didnt and now nearly 4 yrs on still not preg, my life has changed so much since ttc, others dont understand my disire to have a baby,

I hope that we can get to know you better, glad u found us.

Catch ya laters x x

good to hear you had a good b'day nicki :o :o it actually feels the same, doesnt it???!!!!!! 30 is not too bad.

Souris - i think it is just wonderful that you are doing this so young. I would have had a baby when I was 24 or 25 without problems, but like most people we thought time and not stressing would help us.

denise, princess, olivia, smita, sammy ....LOTS OF LOVE XXXXXX

i am 2lbs below my target and happy to settle at that weight for now

Nicki

Names have different meanings in different countrys, look on a baby names website, it might have a really positive meaning somewhere else.
I think its a really beautiful name.

Hi guys

Hope you are all doing ok??

Thanks for asking everyone, my bump is doing fine. Heard the heart beat for the first time today which was fab!!

Souris - welcome to the gang.

Princess - The sickness does go I promise. I was so sick until 12 weeks that some days I couldn't even get out of bed. I am still having days when a bit queasy but it is much better.

Nicki - I love Lily, it is one of my favourite names. However, DH not keen as our surname is Lord he says Lily Lord has too many L's!

Hi to Lumi, Denise, Smita, Sara + Chanteq!! (hope I've not missed anyone)

Bye for now
