Liberty

just read through your original post and was shocked at what a narrow escape you had! I can't imagine what a terrible impact such a rollercoaster might have. What's the news now. I really hope things have gone ok and that you're on your way to twins.

Take care and keep us posted

Hey Ladies,
Sorry I haven't posted sooner, been so busy.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and kind words, it has really helped me get through all this confusion!!

Well I am happy to say we are in fact still pregnant! :D At our scan on Tuesday the doctor found a baby measuring 9 weeks and 2 days, right on track and said she could see a strong heartbeat!! :D

Oh I can't tell you how relieved I was. She said from what she could tell, she could only see one and didn't see anything else to be concerned with. I asked her how no one else was able to see the baby, as it was clear as day to me on the screen...only explanation we got was that maybe it was just to small to see until now!

I guess it doesn't matter anymore. We are half way done with our first trimester and as a few of you posted on another thread, my doctor also said our chances of miscarrying decreases significantly now that we have detected a strong heart beat. :!:

I wanted to also tell you the response we got when we told our dr. back at the OB clinic (my scan was up in radiology). He asked if we where finished with the scan and told us he was waiting for the results…in the meantime I was not to eat or drink anything in case I had to go into surgery! He must not have had much hope they would actually find anything good. My husband quickly jumped up, ultrasound pictures in hand and told him there wont be any surgery!! My Dr. exact words where “No S**t!?!” when he saw the picture of our baby! He took us back to his office to give me my first OB check up and sent me for a round of tests!! All the nurses who consoled me a week prior came over so excited and cheering to congratulate us. It was so magnificent, a true miracle.

What a month this has been!! Thank you all again so much. After this beginning, I can only imagine what the next nine months are going to be like. But in the end, its all worth it!

Thank you God, for our little Miracle!!
