Chrissy! I imagine it must kinda painful/uncomfortable! I had 11 follies and I felt like a balloon, so 33! I cant imagine!
If they make you wait another day, I guess it is for the best... Hang in there!

All4baby - Hi ya. I'm on the 2ww too. Testing 5th Dec (although tempted to test already and I'm only on day 4! I musn't...think I just want to beat AF which is kinda in the back of my mind). Oh well, maybe we can go crazy together!
Chrissy - Blimey my love...how many more do they want?! You'll have to be carried to the clinic!! Still, the more the better huh? Sorry you're feeling a bit poorly 
It's just short-term though, and I'm sure it'll all be worth it in the end. x
Souris - Tks for asking sweetie. I'm doing ok. Tummy's still a bit tender on contact lower down - not sure what this means and too scared to ask, so am trying to ignore it! Nipples a bit sore (sorry, TMI!) but then that can happen when AF is due too. Ooo, I so hope it doesn't come! DF, love him, has already started stroking and patting tummy to try and help them along, although I can't help thinking it's best to try and stay a bit detached...ok, so that's impossible...this whole thing is pure madness, but let's hope it's all going to be worth it. How are you? x

Nicki, sorry.. I dont really know how IUI works...so all my thoughts are with you and oray hard for a BFP on Tuesday!
Lavender, sweet DF!! It is impossible to be detached... I talked to my embies as soon as they were transfered! I had three transfered, and when I got the BFN, it was real hard... After all, it was already 3 little humans coming from me and DH...ah well... just hoping I will be more successful in Jan!
I dont think you should worry about sore nipples,,, Mine were sore as well after the transfer ( i could not stand the bed sheets!), but they never are sore with AF, so it must be because of the drugs...
And about the tender tummy, well all this process has been a bit of a trauma for your body so it needs time to heal!

I know exactly how you feel. That is what happened to me. I was to have my egg retrieval on Monday 11/21 but when they did my u/s and lab work on 11/17, they wanted me on meds for another 2 days. I then went back again on 11/19 for my final u/s and bloodwork and that is when they set my EC for 11/22. After my EC, I developed a mild-moderate case of OHSS which is really uncomfortable. They said that it might continue until after I get my blood work back and if I am pregnant, it could get worse. I only had 9 follicles but I still got overstimulated. I heard that alot of times when you have OHSS, pregnancy rate is slightly higher. Hope all that is true. Hang in there. The hard part is almost over. I am now just on a baby asa and my progesterone shot in the pm which is so much easier than all the other shots before. I am hoping for a BFP on Dec 8. I will be thinking about you and wish you the best. Talk to you soon. Feel free to email with any questions that you may have. This is only my first IVF but I have really learned alot.

Wow! Somebody else that is going just a crazy as I am. I am glad that I found someone that is going through this at the same time. I wish you the best on the 5th. Hopefully this will be the best holiday season for the both of us. Is this the first time you have done IVF? This is my first time and what an emotional roller coater it has been. Everything has gone well though. They collected 9 eggs but 2 were immature. I got the fertilization results and only 1 got fertilized. But hey all you need is one right. I am a little uncomfortable because after my EC I developed a mild-moderate OHSS. It could take weeks to resolve but if I get a BFP on the 8th, it could potentially get worse. But at this point, I am ok with that. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope for the best. Please keep me updated and I will do the same. I had EC yesterday. Very painful . Out of 33 follies there were 15 eggs retrieved, which they said is great. I find out tomorrow how many fertilized.
