Hi guys,
Lovely to read everyones posts, I really did feel as though I was hogging our thread there for a bit!
Heather, so glad that youa re happy with your Sydney decision, and as you say, you have a back up plan (not that you'll need it hopefully!

). I was sorry to hear about the defrosting outcome, very dissapointing, but as you say, this is an opportunity to get healthy, be drug free and focus on preparing your body for your next cycle. We haven't braved the pool as yet, Annie goes to swimming lessons once a week and the pool is a lovely outdoor heated pool which is great. Our backyard pool is in full sun, so you would think it would be quite warm, but my tests to date indicate that it is bloody freezing!!!!!
Hey Jomae, glad that your hair is intact. I found I really lost lots of it during early breastfeeding, I would lose handfuls of it, the sink would clog up in the shower..dreadful!!..so you have all that to look forward to!! When do you think you'll be heading in for egg collection?
Hey Melbourne Jo, yep, we are excited (I think!!) about starting a new cycle. The logistics of having two small kids does frighten me a tad, but then I'm more frightened that it WON'T work and I'll have built up my hopes that Annie will have a sibling, all for nothing. It really is a rollercoaster of emotional highs and lows isn't it..And I really don't think it's any easier going through IVF when you already have a child..I kind of thought it might be (you know, placate myself by saying "well if it doesn't work we have Annie etc etc etc"), but then I get sad that she might be an only child. Which I am actually quite comfortable with (the whole only child thing), but I would like to have at least tried for a brother or sister for her. Glad that you'r pregnancy is progressing well, great that you passed the gestational diabetes test too..I see lots of women with Varicose Veins in pregnancy as an OT. We prescribe compression stockings with adjustable tummy panels that support everywhere (including the pubis..sorry if tmi), but they can make a HUGE difference.
Annie and I are doing well, Johnie is playing golf this morning and we had a little friend of Annie's come over to play. Life is good.
Take care all
Belinda
