Hi Girlies!!

Sorry I haven't touched base for a few days - I actually tried to post yesterday, got most of the way through then lost it all some how. then didn't have time to write it again. AAARRRGGHHHH!!!! Does that happen to anyone else or is it just me??

I've had a chilled out weekend, catching up on sleep and plenty Image and Image Saturday and Sunday! Had lots of decaff and herbal teas and feel better this Monday than I have in a long time :D

Hope everyone is well. Jen glad you're Dad is on the mend, that's fab. Hope all phoenixes are feeling brighter this week - I def think its the weather although wondered if I might have had some pmt as AF arrived today :x .

Julie I hear what you are saying about the diet etc stuff - I wonder about that too. My dh has given up caffeine completely (HUGE thing) but has nescafe decaff instead which he says tastes very good and this is coming from a total coffee lover. He's also seriously cut back the alcohol and is jogging and playing Image most days. We are eating healthier too although we always did and he's taking a protein and viamin shake every day (called build up by Nestle - recommended by his dietician sister) that you might want to try so I think these things are all good to do but within moderation.

Hope everyone else is ok, i've got work to do BOO HOO :( :( so I'm off to do that now so I'll catch up with everyone else soon.

Love to ya all xxxx

Hi all

Nicki that sounds so positive...you go girl!!! We are right behind you...I too think diet and stress management ( a la Zita) help big time with the tmt. I went on the liver detox twice in 3 months to clear out after tmt and before next tmt...i think it helped... I also think after you move you will be creating a familt environment so a little one is sure to come along for you may or july!!! And you can still have fun practicing with Mark

Julie as said above excellent news with your diet changes....my clinic told me NOTHING about diet or vitamin supliments. I have found Zita to be a wonderful source but i have also seen a nutritionalist who has checked me for imbalances of vits and minerals. that helped more...it cost £70 but was worth it...i had to take douoble the reconmmended dose of selenium and 20mg more of CQ10 as well as stop all wheat :( wheat and tting out my 1 cup of stong coffee a day was the hardest things to give up ! Let me know how you get on !

Sally I didn't know you were living in Germany...I for some reson thought it was France? Hope you are having a fab time on the Beach in Cornwall resting up with parents in law...

Lola how did you get on with HSG?

how is everyone else doing?

I really enjoyed the weekend with friends and their 15mth old son.DF and i took him out Sunday morning to give his mum and dad a lie in. he is so cute and cuddily...as well as totally boystous and demanding  we had lots of fun and DF and i had loadds of moments of eye meets just enjoying being parents for that short time. :) :) Hope all works out at our consultant meeting this friday and we can start ivf soon again.

Love to ya all

Just wanted to add HI to Lucy and Lisa...we all posted at the same time!!!!

Lucy glad you went back to work...I know it's hard but the weeks will fly by then you will be off in March with 2ww. :) Hold by what you want and stick to having your hours changed. It's the law that if you have been off ill you can change your hours...ask at your HR dept. Good luck with the rest of the week, especially hearing all the baby talk that nust be hard.

Lisa- You are working well on the weights and DH too...I think will will christen you 'the fit family' .....i can imagine your baby in his pram with a set of dumbells :) I too feel lighter and brighter this week...even though i have been doing nothing but washing and ironing all day!!! Something in the air or as you say the lighter and brighter days?

Anyway smiles to you all :D :D

hellooooo ladies!
I've been a bit crappola and not keeping up properly but I am reading the phoenix posts! Promise!
Hope you are all well, I know lots of you are on the Drop down gimme Twenty roller coaster of fitness and power to you! I am bad at exercise. I think it all stems from not being picked for the netball team at Junior School because I was "too short" (I was 7 for petes sake!!! We were all short!!!), its sort of a two fingers to you thing. In supreme effort to get fit though have decided that walking is to be my zen saviour.... We'll see.
Lucy - going back is very hard. But it will get better. I think you are very brave.
Jen - you are a rock god when it comes to keeping up with everyone and spreading happiness. HSG was ok, haven't got the results yet.... come on fallops! Let the dog see the rabbit!
Everyone else, sorry no personals but I am mid way through cooking a curry and have garam masala anxiety. Also, I think I burnt my nasal passage with mustard.

Keep smiling everyone

Lots of love,
Lola

Hi girls :D

Hope everyone is ok and Luby, your second day is better than your first. Sure you will settle back in quickly and feel like you have never been away!!! . As for cutting your hours Jeni is right. Go and see HR and give them hell...

Jen/Nickimark - Thanks for the info. I think it is so easy to stress yourself out over all this so sat and did a "healthy balanced diet" sheet based on some of Zita's tips last night to keep me focused. :( Love my food...

Thankfully I have no weight to lose other than a couple of pounds as tackled that last year, the only thing I need to do is exercise which is not my thing  . Lis - Sounds like you are doing great and wish I could but have no co-ordination AT ALL and either feel a geek or laugh (along with everyone else). Walking is my best thing so will be doing lots of it. Glad you have chirped up x

Nickimark - Sounds like the healthy life is doing you a power of good too, glad you are feeling more relaxed and positive. 8) I too have had my full of trauma and upset over the last 5 years and take on everyone else's problems but am learning to be more resilient and going to start hypno soon as I am already tense about being tense!!!

CBB - GET GEORGE OUT OUT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Prestud all the way....... :P

Take care
Julie xx

JENI - Could you add two dates please

14 March - Mine and DH 10th Wedd anniversary
15 April - Hols

Cheers xxx

Jen

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never seen anything like it..... (Great TV tho :) )

Started with George   sniping at Prestud about being a sneak and a liar and claiming that he wouldn't of touched food/beer/cigars in the directors room (:!: :?: ) whilst the rest of the house had nothing. After 10 mins of insults Prestud called him a cheating politician  and it went from there leading Dennis to say that Chantelle "would have her face bashed in where he came from" for lying like she did. They couldn't make the idiots see it was all for their benefit considering they too lied to keep the task a secret. Michael stepped in at Dennis to defend Chantelle then George stepped in to defend Dennis (as if a 7ft 40 odd year old man cannot defend himself  ) and got real dirty with Michael re being an alchy/addict/self centred and then when Prestud stepped in to defend Michael George went off on one with him AGAIN!

George is a phsyco - OUT OUT OUT. and like Nickimark said VOTE!!!!!
