Shantala- I don't remember if we cycled together or not. I feel like with all my cycles I have cycled with half the world. I see you have a 2 month old. Oh how jealous I am. Enjoy that stage....it doesn't last long. Where do you post pictures?

Miracle- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! You deserve more than an extra hour of sleep...you should have taken the day off work. we could have covered for you.

Yes, I am from Colorado. Absolutely loved the beauty of the mountains, however, hate the cold weather. I have only skied once before so that didn't make me like the winters any better. I do love visiting once or twice a year though.

Angel- meetings and conferences all day....does your boss not know that your priority is this site and not work? we may need to have a little talk with him.

Yep, we are going out to dinner. My FIL and I have the same birthday so he will be joining us. My sister will probably go too. Saturday both families are coming over to celebrate mine and FIL's birthday. Should be fun!! I love my FIL, but not to keen on MIL.

Oh that is funny!!! So they had a good time I take it. So do you have hotels there that won't allow gay people in??

no - it just seems that certain towns seem to have larger gay communities and Brighton is one of biggest in UK I think - so everything down there is 'gay' friendly!!!

Enjoy your meal - off now for my massage :D

Hrobinson,

Hello…………..when are you off to Colorado? I've heard that its really pretty.

Regarding weight loss, I'm at a total loss  . I promise that I have been so healthy with my eating for at least the past 3 weeks now. Plus I've been going to the gym 3 times a week and do some toning exercise at home 2 times a week. My clothes definitely fit a little bit better - its not a drastic change, but does feel different. So when I got on the scales yesterday, NO CHANGE AT ALL :? . I felt sooo demotivated. Like Carolyn said once you see a difference it spurs you on to continue. But I don't know what to make of this  . And then I thought that if so much work doesn't pay off then why bother?

Like yourself I want to lose 20 pounds. But I've set myself smaller milestones. For the short term, my aim is to lose 7.5 pounds.

I still say that someone should invent a way to laser away all the fat cells, so that the fat can never get stored in the body

Hi Angel - how was the conference/meeting .. boring like they always are I suppose!

At least if you feel better about yourself from trying that goes a long way .. what about trying to reduce carbs and not eating after 7pm - that really helped me - whenever I have carbs now I just bloat out.. worth a try!!

Massage was lovely - but my shoulders and neck are killing today - said I must carry all my tension there .. kept waking in night each time I moved it hurt :o

DH home now so trying to get on with life.. am definitely going to have naother week off though just to get myself totally together.. and we are off camping next weekend .. so it is bound to rain

This weekend got BBQ tom and friend doing graden fete on sunday to raise money for a charity walk she is doing .. i am on the tea stall so got to make some cakes for her  - hope i don't east them all before sunday!!

You up to anything exciting ?? . when are the weddings ?

Mir/Chris/Icsi/Angie/Becky - where are you ??????

Hi Carolyn,

Yes, I was soo bored. And its hard work trying to appear really serious and nod at the right times while my mind kept on wandering away.

Gosh you girls must think I'm a total dumbass who doesn't do any work - I'm not really like that. I do get my work done but with all the IF thoughts I find it very difficult to get motivated about making any progress for the time being. Even though my boss encouraged me to apply for a promotion, I just wasn't interested. I started working on my application, but didn't go through with it. And I can just about handle my current work stress, don't want additional work stress while going through tmt.

I have actually reduced my carbs significantly. Can't do the not eating after 7.00 as that is the time I get home. But I have been eating before 8.00 and then just have a herbal tea before going to bed.

Have you got another full week off from work? Thats great. It is so important to give yourself the time to heal properly. I went to work straight away and it was just terrible. I was there physically, but in a terrible emotional state and in the end I don't beleive it did anyone good.

Are you good with baking? And are you going to scrape off all the cake mixture before washing the utensils? Yuummmmmyyyyyy.............on that note, I'm going off to have lunch :D
