hi all, just saw this thread and have a similar question... i started my first stimms injection on the 4th of nov (well it was 11p.m.) i just returned from my us and have about 10-12 follies on each side, they are growing but very slowly . most of them measure 12-13 with a few 14-15 and only one 17. is that abnormal or am i also just a slow responder? Ghost, does this affect the result? hearing any similar stories would be very helpful!

Yes, it affects the result.
In a European study about 5 years ago, patients were randomized to receive hCG either when the lead follicle reached 17mm, or else 2 days later. The late-trigger group had slightly more and better eggs/embryos, but also much lower implantation rates. The conclusion was that endometrial receptivity was probably compromised by the longer stimulation.
