Hi Shellie,
I can't bloody believe that the NHS would do such a thing, that is discrimination on the basis that you have or have been able to get together the finances.

that has made me see red, how can they justify that, when you have paid yourself. In the Womens in Liverpool we have been told that should we be able to afford to go private (i'm doing the lottery religiously now) it will not affect our chances at ivf although they only do two cycles.
But on the otherside its is fab that you have the chance to try now and hopefully you will get the result youve waited for.
Do you happen to know which hospitals have the highest success rate, i've tried looking but couldnt find out.
Wishing you the best possible outcome

I wont ask where the name comes from!
I bet your very excited although at the same time scared, it must be horrible knowing that whatever happens is out of your control. I was reading a article today which was saying that 50% of the babies born through ivf have happened over the last 5 years. Thats great because it means that during the two year wait the doctors have been perfecting their technique, so youve got a better chance now of it working then back then. Fingers crossed.
I will be keeping a eye on you and shellie.
Thank you for the words of encouragement.
all the best
