We are doing our first IUI as well but it is stimulated. I will start clomid on day 3 thru day 7 than a shot of bravelle on day 9 and my ovidrel on day 11 if my bloodwork and ultrasound shows me ready for trigger. I'm very excited as well!!!

Thats great Kery........I hope I get that lucky. My husband and I have decided to allow for two IUI's and if we don't get our BFP than onto IVF.

This is my first IUI and would love to hear about anyone who has gotten their BFP with doing IUI.

Hi floridagirl- I sent you a pm as well as this reply. CCRM and SG are abbreviations for fertility centers. CCRM is colorado center for reproductive medicine and SG is Shady Grove which has offices thru out washington, maryland,deleware.

Also has anyone had their follicle count done by an outside entity than their doctor and got a lower count? I was told its best to have your RE center do the ultrasound because they know what to look for whereas an outside diagnostic center misses them quite often.

How does the RE diagnose a patient with DOR? What numbers would start to classify DOR?

Hi Summer- I definitely agree choosing a place with a good rep and great care is so important even if it means traveling. Its just a bit nerve racking knowing your so far away from the place providing you with care but it's manageable I'm sure. Thanks for the luck as I wish you as well!!!

That's good to know. I live 12 hours from my clinic so its a bit nerve racking but I'm sure it will be fine once I start everything.

Is anyone else going thru the IVf process with a center that is not in their hometown and is quite a distance away? How is the process going and is it difficult working with a center out of town?

If you were the one choosing a center would you go with SG or CCRM? I am so up in the air. I'm in Florida and have no centers near me so I have to travel to be with a good center and just wanted your opinion. And if not CCRM or SG would you choose another place?
