Hi Mizzy,

My Doctor actually had me do both POI and suppositories and within two weeks, my numbers were so high and holding I was able to stop doing both. The shots really aren't that bad. They didn't hurt giving much more than anything else, just a little sore the next day.

JG - good luck! I'd say better safe than sorry. I know the class is only offered right now, but think about how hard you've worked to be pregnant and how happy you are right now. My two cents of course. :-)

Everyone else, hope all is going well. I keep checking the Board but I'm not one to reply ...

Also the Apothecary Shop is great too. www.apothecaryshop.com. They actually helped me figure out that my insurance would cover the meds but did a ton of research for me and the prices were the best I could find.

mili- try the Apothecary Shop, www.theapothecaryshop.com. They are based out of Arizona, but very helpful, friendly and the cheapest I found. And actually when my insurance said my drugs weren't covered, they did research and found out that I should call my medical side and we found out they were ...

Sorry ladies for being so MIA. I read everyday just couldn't bring myself to post until after my last ultrasound. I know silly, but since I haven't had any nauseau at all and the only thing that truly is kicking in is hunger, I just wanted to make sure everything was ok. I truly am the ...

Johannanita - well, I wasn't that crampy with the POI specifically, just kinda crampy all of the time. Of course was worried to death, but when I went in on Wed for my first u/s my Doc said my ovaries are still enflamed from the stims and that the cramping is from them changing, not the uterus ...

I had the very same issue. In my case specifically it's that my eggs don't mature. Did they tell you if they were mature but still didn't fertilize or did they go into that detail. My first cycle we did a Low-dose Lupron, retrieved 19 eggs but only 2 matured. This second cycle we changed the ...

malya - they took me off my POI shots as well after my second beta. Apparently they wants your numbers in the 90-120 range at a minimum before they start weening you off. In my case I was well over 120 so they stopped the POI, but I did stay on the suppositories for one additional week when we ...

Hi Ladies,

Just got back from our u/s. We have one little rice grain growing!! 7 weeks today and measuring exactly 7 weeks with a heartbeat of 125. My doctor says size is good and heartbeat is good. For my timeframe he said they like to see it between 112 and 140, so I'm right where I should be. I ...

We have been lucky that my husband's insurance covers a good portion of it and we too both work and have been saving.

Additionally, if you are getting only these kinds of negative comments from this one doctor, I would highly recommend second opions. There are a lot of great doctors out there and ...

JG - they told me I can take either colace or ducasate sodium. Those are both safe during pregnancy. My poor hubbie tried to get me what I needed but came home with Dulcolax which we aren't supposed to take apparently. He tried so hard though. :-) So I'm off to the drugstore at lunch time. I just ...

Mine told me to go easy during stims but has asked me to stop until the first u/s. They are a little more cautious and also agree that excercise is important, but to really take it easy for now.
