Re: April 2010 Babies

How is everyone doing?! I posted awhile back, but apparently it didn't show up.
Things are ok here. I am at the dr 2x/week for non-stresstests. Twins have looked great so far. I've been having a lot of contractions. I have 1-2/hour that are strong enough to stop me in my tracks or wake me up if I'm ...

Sportsmom: I was told just to fast for 2 hours prior to the test, but have since been told by several people that I should have fasted from the prior night on. Everyone that failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour test said they ate the morning of the 1 hour. With the three hour you must fast from ...

Babies- They called the next morning with my results. They actually told me I would know that day, but no one ever called. I think if you had failed the test they would definatly have called you ASAP because they would want to start treatment and teaching.

Skipper- We were stuck on middle names as ...

Babies: What a bummer! I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that your 3 hr comes back better.

I had my Glucose tolerance test today and am waiting the results.

I also get full so easily. One of the babies is sitting really high up- they are actually at a "T" with one head down on bottom and one streched ...

Sportsmom I went back and was reading your post. You said your doc wasn't happy that you had gained 18 lbs?? How far along are you? That seems pretty typical and healthy. I was 25 wks 5 days at my last appointmnt and have gained 17 lbs. Of course, I'm having twins, but she would still like to see ...

When it makes your ticker choose the BBcode from the "forum" list. Once you copy and paste that into your signature line erase everything before the first [img] and then delete everything after the last [img] (I think all it says is [url]) Good luck! It took me forever!

Tortilla: At my appointment last week I had gained 17 lbs. This is better than what I'd been doing, but I guess it still isn't as high as they wish.

We had a growth ultrasound today. Our babies are 2 lb 10 oz and 2 lb 4 oz! Both measure ahead of their due date. Even though there is a big ...

Hello everyone. So How nervous/excited have ya'll gotten? We finished the nursery yesterday- both cribs up, chair, clothes hanging in the closet, etc. Now I am like "OK....where are the babies that go in there?!" I have been having dreams about them so that makes me even more anxious. I just want to ...

One thing you have to think about it that the further along you get the heartbeats will drop until about 17 weeks or so when they become more stable.
Our twins are both boys. Their heartbeats were about 175 during 8 or 9 weeks. at 13 weeks they were both 153. At about 16 weeks they were at 145ish ...

We just bought an Acadia, an SUV with 3rd row seating. We have twins on the way and a daughter already. The back doesn't have quite as much room as a van or suburban, but it was large enough for the stroller. We know that once they move into bigger carseats we can get a souble umbrella stroller ...

Yep- the progesterone loosens up the joints. My hips popped out of place in the first few weeks. I had to use a hip stabilizing thingy. I have just kind of gotten used to it now. Sometimes when I have been sitting in the same spot for awhile and I try to stand up it is really uncomfortable and I ...

I'm having two showers- A co-ed at the very end of January and a traditional shower in the middle of January.
I'm not "due" until April 2nd (which is the 38 week mark when they will take the babies). The possibility of going really early and of being on bed rest made us want to have it early ...

When I reach 20-22 weeks my doctor will be putting me on at home monitoring. You plug the device into the phone wall as often as instructed (they said we will start with twice a day) and it sends information directly to the dr. about if you've been having contractions or not. They discuss it in the ...
