went on and tested today BFN, actually got my hopes up that may not be the case then got deflated, now (am i thick or what) starting to think that i maybe need to test again in case the test is faulty. Got trouble being realistic here?!?

Thanks T, i don't want to have regrets thats why i did IVF after 16 years infertility and thinking it wouldn't work and I probably will, as long as body allows, keep trying.

D, K, C & S - thanks, it is hard but seeing others being through sometimes so much more helps to stop me feeling sorry for myself. Don't know if i will try again - worried now I am getting too old - 39 in August.

Thanks everyone for your support. AF came with a vengence though at 3 am, with cramps like never before. Just trying to get my head round it all now and plan my next move. Take care. J.x

Felt sick all morning and hoped it was a good sign. Started low back pain and stomach pain like AF was coming, 12 days post transfer and not due to test until 21st. Some light bleeding just started. Absolutely gutted as now thinking this must be it all over now.

Just wondered what time off work others have taken and whether it has been allowed for hospital appts. or taken as annual leave.

I didn't like to ask for time off so took annual leave for all scan appts, ec but took time off for hospital appt for EC then went back to work the following two days ...

Hi all

ET on 5/5, 2 embryos. Have been positive all way through treatment but now convinced this will not work. Hospital advised me to take HPT on 21st. Already done three (8th, 11th and today) all negative. Trying to adopt PMA but think my defence mechanisms kicking in and feeling really deflated ...
