Hi All

I've not been on the board for a while now, but curiousity got the better of me today!

It sounds like you're all doing well.... however, be careful about drinking too much water. I remember someone quite a while back, drinking loads of water and ended up very ill as a result. 5 litres a ...

I'm soooo loving this thread!

My best one has got to be my GP, when I went to ask for some stronger painkillers for my period pains and she said that I could do with a pregnancy to sort me out. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...... can't she read my notes? When I said 'I wish' she then started writing a ...

Hi

I've just been offered a promotion at work, even though they know I've recently been through IVF, and will hopefully do it again. When I talked it through with my boss (who is leaving, and who I'm replacing), she said that employers take a risk with every female who is of child bearing age, and ...

Hi Toni

How are you now? Are you still in limbo or do you know one way or another yet? When I started to bleed heavily and m/c I went to my Dr who helpfully made me an appt for a scan with my local hospital for the following week, which was just downright cruel. I then decided later in the day when ...

Alette

I'm so sorry. We cycled and tested together in September, and it seemed like you were so lucky to have another go so soon, so it's such a shame it's turned out this way again. I hope you are OK. At least you have your baby puppy to comfort you. Having a dog is such a joy, and especially a ...

Oh My God...... just how disgusting is that progesterone gel (I was on Crinone)?!! If anything was going to put me off of sex during the 2ww, then that was it! I kept having great nasty lumps (not unlike playdough)come out whenever I went to the loo or had a shower. I think DH would have had a nasty ...

Hi Bronagh

I think it's because I had tmt done in Italy. I don't have a clinic over here, and it's my GP who hasn't been particularly sympathetic. She wouldn't do any blood tests for me (ie. hcg levels), and they wouldn't put me in for an earlier scan when I first went to them with my former BFP ...

Thank you Debra, Dolly & Alette for your kind words, and especially to Jill for your PM (I will PM you later from home when I've got more time, I'm sorry you are so depressed, but totally understand). I forced myself to go into work, and it's a good job I did as I'm mega busy. It's been fairly quiet ...

I should be 12 weeks now...

I've just had such a bad week. I would have been 12 weeks on Tuesday, and I'd even made a coded note in my diary at work to announce it, but of course I can't. Tuesday and Thursday were the worst days. Tuesday because I should have been telling the world, and Thursday when I should have had my first ...

Hi Alette

I had no explanation for my m/c. It was so frustrating, because although I had the IVF/ICSI done in Italy (paid 2500 Euros), the Dr said beforehand that he would only need to see me once after ET (5 days after) and then it would be OK to go back to UK. When we did, the Italian Dr wanted ...

Hi Jen

You're doing so well now, it's fantastic. Have the Dr's given you any explanations why your numbers were so low to start with? I can totally understand why you feel like you're holding your breath. Hopefully your Dr's can tell you to breathe out soon!

Hi Alette

That's really good you can try again so soon. I'm desperate for another go, but apart from still waiting for my first AF after my m/c (nearly 7 weeks now), we've got some major life changing decisions to make first (not that this isn't...!). DH has wanted to move to Italy (his home ...

Hi Alette

I'm confused..... you were originally testing 30th September the same as me. I presume it didn't work out, but don't you have to leave 3 months between tries?
