Angel

My baby's heart rate at 6 weeks 1 day was 90. I spent the next two weeks until my 8 weel us fretting and reading everything I could get my hands on and found that this is a very normal rate for a newly beating heart. Anything below 90 is dicy but 90 is acceptable.

I am now six month pregnant ...

Thank you ladies for all of the heartwarming congrats. Congrats to you too Blake!

Well my HCG was 90 today so it's staying the course. The nurse was very concerned when I called for the results as I'm dealing with two separate clinics... one in the US who handled the donor and one in Canada (where ...

Miracles happen every day!

I found out yesterday that we are pregnant! Some of you may remember me from late August when I had a negative with an egg donor. We decided to try one more time and keep a very low profile. No one knew what we were up to - superstition and all that jazz. I had an HCG of 53 and will go tomorrow ...

Take care Nicki. It's a tough day and you deserve to feel the emotions of not receiving the results you had dreamed of. Your loss is ours.

Hi There,
I had my first IVF (via donor egg) on August 7th with a negative result. I unfortunately only had one good embie for transfer however we transferred "what we had" and did three embies all at once (from a 26 year old donor). My doctor performed ICSI as well as assisted hatching. The AH is ...

Heather and Nicki, my sympathies on your negative results. I know how hard the dissapointment can be when our hopes are so raised with all the PMA and support from these gals. Just to let you know, I tested BFN (both blood and HPK) and it took 7 days until AF finally reared her ugly head. I think ...

Dang it! Sorry Heather to hear of your news. Sometimes just walking away and putting it aside for a while brings on fresh thoughts. Enjoy getting lucky with your DH again... Seems there are quite a few of us gals that will be doin' the mattress dance as August comes to a close.

Chanteq,
I'm sorry you received a negative result. You were, and still remain, one of the most inspirational and positive gals on our board and we can all learn from your strength and "can do" attitude. Take time to reflect and then begin to make a new plan to move forward. This isn't the end, but ...

Denise, my heart is aching for you and I'm deeply sorry for your BFN. How tragic that it has to happen much less be compared to the stifling loss of a miscarriage. I sincerely can't imagine the pain that must be, yet I share in your loss. Life sucks sometimes. It just plain sucks. Like I said, I'm ...

I'm thinking of you Denise. Remember, I am just a phone call away (fellow Ontario gals). We can have a nice talk if you like...

Take care,
Love Wanda

Debbieed, it's replies like yours that give us the strength and motivation to move forward, I know it has for me. This is certainly not a game for the faint of heart nor a lack of positive thinking.

Niki, I'm sorry to learn of your recent dissapointment. Yup, sometimes life sucks and bites the big ...

Heather and Chantaq, your test day is so close now. Keep your positive energy up and visualize what a BFP will look like. You have a lot of support from the gals on this board, no matter what happens we are here for you. I'm sending out tons of PMA for you both.

Good Luck!

Keep the Faith

Denise M, Jag, Kagome and all the rest of us who have not received positive results these past few weeks:

I am truly sorry to everyone (myself included) facing a challenging and dissapointing outcome. It is so difficult to know why things don't happen they way we want them to. It seems unfair but ...

Debbie I am thrilled for you and your DH. You are an inspiration to me that persistence eventually pays off. I have just come off of my first IVF with a -ve and my DH and I are going to give it two more tries. I see you were 3rd time lucky. After you have come down from cloud nine, I'd like to pick ...
