Hi Julie

It's nice to hear from a local person, I've taken your MSN address and will send you a message. Thats great you are getting 3 shots on the NHS, i am too but have to go to the back of the queue after a failed attempt, so it means another 2 years on the waiting list. Looks like we will be finding the ...

Hi Julie

Sorry to hear about your cycle. Life sucks eh? I'm glad you posted the question, as i too have been looking into this and there seems to be little information about. My cycle failed in August, and my AF arrived on day 30, no-one can give a straight answer about your cycle returning to normal ...

Hi Julie

I have been reading about the unit closing in Aberdeen. I've been going to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Why do the clinics make you wait so long for a follow up appointment, do they not realise how we might be feeling. I have put in a letter of complaint, so i will await the reply - i'm not one for ...

Hi Nicki

Thanks for your message, i have been popping in and out of the boards, and it was good to hear from you. How are things with you? What do we put ourselves through? My head is completly all over the place, and i really need to speak to the consultant before i can make decisions. My first ...

thanks for the replies

thank you both for replying, i didn't think it was a reasonable time to wait, but i thought i would get honest answers from people on this board. I think i will have to formally complain to the clinic, and see if that gets a response. I can't wait that long, as i will go mad by then.

1st ivf failed - follow up appointment

Hi there,

After going through our 1st ivf, which failed at the beginning of August, i have now been told today that our follow up appointment will be 17 weeks away (after being told it would only be 6 weeks). Is this a normal length of time to wait, or should we complain? I am feeling totally ...

GOODBYE AND THANKS

Hi All

I just wanted to let you know that as I have to wait 11 months to start IVF, I have decided to try and take control of things again. I feel I live, eat and sleep infertility, and I need to somehow step back a bit, and start enjoying life again. I need to spend time again with DH, having a ...

Thank you again for the replies, my clinic has never offered this type of test, but for my own mind i need to rule things out. It seems crazy to me that they can diagnose unexplained without ruling out certain things.

Hope you are all doing ok

Thanks for the replies

LittleP - can i ask if they offered the test or did you ask for it? Some clinics seem to offer others don't.

TESTING IMMUNE SYSTEM?

Hi

Just wanted to ask if anyone has had their immune system tested as part of their diagnosis for infertility? The more I read, the more it seems that this type of testing can help to explain the "unexplained". I saw the doc on Wednesday, but all she was offering was more hormone testing. For my ...
