Hi Tasja,

Thanks for the encouragement. As much as I despise needles, I would go through it to conceive. I love kids and it is pretty devastating that we couldn't conceive naturally. Seems like everyone around us including friends and family don't have any issues. It's also pretty sad that I am on ...

Jitter, we also consider looking into clinics outside the US since it's so expensive. A few weeks ago, 60 minutes had an episode on surgery overseas and it was quite interesting. Try looking into Thailand, India, etc. 60 was specifically talking about Thailand and it was very affordable.
Good luck!

Hey ladies,

I just had the iui procedure a few days ago, but dh's stats were so bad that the doc didn't give us hope. She's not even giving me the pregnancy test after the two weeks. Anyway, she advised us to go straight to ivf/icsi afterwards. Question, I know that lupron and syngeral (sp?) works ...

Hi Sana -

Your post was touching as we are going through that now. We are in the beginning stage though. My husband was diagnosed with low sperm count and motility last year by his urologist. He was put on some medication. The urologist tested him again and the count went up, but the motility ...

Hi everyone! We just found out that we also have to go through IVF/ICSI due to low count/motility/morph. Yes, we have it all! It was really hard to swallow because I really thought that the doctor would advise us to try IUI. My dh's count/motility was low on the last three sa when his urologist ...

SA Question

Can someone help interpret my dh sa:

Motility: 24%
Concentration: 19.5 x10e6/mL
Morph: 37%

What does this all mean? Can we take something to improve his motility? And are these good figures for IUI?

I am making an appointment with a RE, but am eager to find out!

Thanks!

I'm a Newbie!

Hi everyone!

My name is Allison. Here's my story - I am 29 yrs old and my dh is 34. We ttc for 2 years without luck. So far we found out that it's a male factor (low sperm count and motility issue). We will go to a RE after my gyno check me out. My OB/GYN suggested that we try IUI first. Does ...
