FET - Sarah30

Sarah,

Thanks for the info. I'm having private treatment, and it's dh who had an unsuccesful vasectomy reversal, hence us having to have ICSI now, so I'm all okay. I developed OHSS when I had ec back in March, and therefore missed a fresh et, went straight for fet earlier this month, but the ...

FET - Sarah30

Sarah,

For my next FET (probably in Jan/Feb) I asked my consultant yesterday if having a HCG injection would increase the chances. She said that injections of this kind are only given if I'm in a complete drug induced cycle (ie. taking drugs, go for ec, then 2 days later have et), and not ...

AF arriving during 2WW

Andie,

I have just had a failed ET, and too was expecting a very bad AF, but it wasn't at all. Mine came for about 2/3 days, then went for about 2 days, then came back for another couple of days.

Also, the 3 embies I used all had 4 cells. The remaining embies on ice have 4 cells, 3 ...

Going for a second FET

Having just had a failed FET (in a natural cycle)a couple of weeks ago, have met today with our consultant who advised just to do the same again with the remaining embies that we have frozen. Has anyone else had a FET in a natural cycle, no drugs at all, as from what I'm reading some of you seem to ...

How has everyone justified time off to work???

this is a very difficult question to answer. I choose not to tell my work, and have been living a lie ever since !! I too have very nosey people at work, and I don't feel that I know or trust them enough to tell them my personal business, but on the other hand, I wish I had of told them, as I feel ...

Am interested to read that alot of you took time off work after ET. I went back to work the next day, but obviously took it easy (I was using frozen embie's in a natural cycle). Anyway, I had the worst week ever at work, full of stress & arguements !! Unfortunately the ET failed, so am now thinking ...

Lack of Information

You are right in saying that the more oestrogen you produce, the drugs need to be reduced so that your levels are at a safe level ready for ec, otherwise OHSS is a risk. I was coasted for a few days, and was told the night before that I would be going in for ec, as they were waiting on blood ...
