Wow! I haven't been here on the message boards in quite a while, not sure why I checked in today, but what is the 1st thing I see? My old bump buddy Sharishu is back!
I want to wish you GREAT LUCK on your next try. I've found I'm happy with my singleton so no more tries for me.
You & baby must be ...

I started that at about 8 weeks and within just a few nights DS was sleeping through the night. He doesn't really wake up for that bottle, might fuss a little when he's picked up but then starts sucking & goes right back to sleep. For several months when he younger I could even change his diaper ...

I'm so sorry he's having a tough time. My little guy has been in daycare since 3 mos. DH drops him off & I pick him up. Usually he's there for about 6-7 hrs/day. Because he's been going since he was that young we've haven't had many problems ourselves. It's a nice daycare & the staff are great. I've ...

Women who get pregnant the old fashioned way are still doing whatever they want during the 2WW(because they don't even know they ARE on a 2WW). My best advice after several cycles & finally success with a beautiful baby boy is to try to relax and spoil yourself as much as possible. Eat your ...

Your son is 11 weeks and you're going for ET tomorrow? Are you sure you want to do this so soon? You're very young and there's been great success with FET's. I don't mean to intrude & definitely wish you the best of luck, but remember to take good care of yourself -don't overload your body.
Take ...

I had several unsuccessful cycles until my RE told me I needed to have acupuncture 1 hour before the transfer. It really helped -I felt about 100x more relaxed. With the acupuncture before hand, I had 1 chemical pregnancy then finally SUCCESS!
It's worth a try.

California is different. I got 12 weeks only, so I waited right up until the birth. In fact, I ended up getting a "semi" emergency Csection. My water broke but I never started labor. I saw the MD that morning & was told I had 2-3 hours to get to the hospital. So I went back to work and sent out an ...

This type of question/request has come up before on this message board -requests for help with "research" papers and journalism articles. In general, that's not what this message board is intended for. It's for women, men, couples going through the experience of IVF.
I would be very cautious in ...

Hi Grace,
I just wanted to say Hang in There. Your baby is going to start getting a lot better at "self-entertaining" within the next few months -every week it gets a little better. I have a 7month DS. For the longest time it seemed like he could only tolerate about 5 minutes in the exersaucer, didn ...

It was on my approved meds list from my OB.

We did the "lap" travel at 3 months. It was not bad at all. We brought the car seat and car seat base and stroller with us. On the flight there we did a door check with the base & stroller and since the flight was not full we were allowed to keep the baby in the car seat & strap it into a seat. On ...

I also wanted to say having been there myself, the worst thing you can do is panic and start feeling like you have no options. You have plenty of options, you & your DH are so young and where there's a will there's a way. Just hang in there and don't rush into anything that doesn't feel right. You ...

MikeandJess,
I was also one of those women who started out being told that I had a really high chance of success & then for whatever reason it kept not working. I tried IVF, then FET, switched clinics, another IVF, then FET, finally got prego on the 3rd IVF. I credit the new MD I went to who was ...

Hi KBat,
I haven't posted in a long while but something about this thread & some of the things you said really struck me. First of all, god bless you for surviving 6 IVF's. I tried 3 IVF's & 2 FET's before I got lucky and had my miracle baby. I know the pain you're going through(and yet I don't ...
