Hi,

I've read a lot about the benefits of dhea for older women, in that it improves the success of IVF.
But, I wonder if the supplement should be taken if I have an elevated testosterone level normally. Would I still see the same benefits or would it harm the quality of my eggs?

Thanks for the reply. Actually I added the aspirin on my own, it was not part of my protocol for this cycle. I just read a lot about the benefits of aspirin and the doctor did not mind adding it. But, I was nervous about taking it every day, so I was irrigular.

Can you tell what you think about taking Aspirin 81mg.
I've been taking it irrigularly during my IVF cycle and stopped the last week. I just got a 14 day Beta of 109 and I'd like to return to the aspirin as I read it decreases the chancees of m/c.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure what to tell you? I went to Cleveland Clinic for a fresh and frozen and both negative. The cost is close to 9,000 without meds. The frozen is less, I believe 2000 without meds.

If you are asking whether they are a good clinic, I'm not sure, I've heard positives and negatives ...

What type of protocol did your doctor use? Did he change protocols between IVF 1 and 2?

I would recommend getting a second opinion and trying different protocols. An FSH of 9 or 10 does not mean that you should give up and go to donor eggs. Read a book titled Inconceivable.

Thanks for the reply. I read in several books that you can use several samples of DH sperms to increase the odds but my Dr. never suggested it. Thanks for letting me know what your Dr. said. My DH has been using Vitamin E, but so far no change.
