Thanks friends for all the nice congrats! Get this - for the first time today, a stranger asked me when I was due! Nurse says it's a combo of ovaries still swollen and uterus growing - can't believe I already have a bump. So be prepared for that ladies

Maybe with IVF your stomach muscles know what's happening and just give in early ... that or mine are nonexistent, haha.
Amanda, your doctor will watch the OHSS closely whether they tell you or not (they probably don't want to worry you) - so let them do the worrying and you just try to keep yourself comfortable. It's a bit hazy but I believe they let me use a hot water bottle/heating pad even after transfer to help cut down the aching. (Definately ask first!) Also make sure you have a scale and thermomoter so you can record your levels a few times each day for 5 days, at least that was my dr's requirement.
Re: the ice or no ice debate w/PIO -- I swear it helps to use ice to numb your skin where most of the nerve endings are, and agree that putting the PIO bottle under your arm or something to warm it up before you draw the fluid helps, then rubbing and heat helps it settle in. At least it works for me....
Can't wait to hear more about retrievals and transfers - such an exciting and nerve-wrecking time, but you will get through it!!
