Haylie, sounds like you are taking the right approach. It must be really hard for you. I hope things go well and you are able to keep a positive outlook. Sounds like the baby is doing great so keep that as your focus
So, I'm finally starting to understand the m/s you've all been talking about. Yikes. I started with just about all day, every day nausea on Monday of this week (just over 7 weeks). I need to eat every two hours - my stomach starts growling like crazy, and I get that sick feeling. I know it is a good thing though
I have my final u/s with the RE this coming sunday (3/18), then I'm off to the OB on 3/19. I'm going to miss the weekly scans (meaning, weekly reassurance that everything is OK).
I also made the mistake of doing too much internet research - I read that high beta hcg's can indicate down's syndrome. Mine have been very high from the start. I talked to the RE about it - they seem to think that there may have been a twin in there that "resolved itself" which elevated the levels, but they can't be certain. They should take the internet away from Pg women
Hope everyone is doing well!
Karen
