hey ladies

oooohhhhh, i just love this hot weather! waking up in the morning and the sun beaming through the curtains!!

welshbugger -   you make me laugh so much! na na na na naaaaaahhhhh, i'm a valued thingamebob!!! (*pokes her tongue out*) only joking...you're nearly there!! thanks for the advice hun. 20-22 isnt bad, think my 19 may go up to a 23 by sunday but hoping that will be fine. i dont mind losing that one if the others catch up. what you up to at the weekend? anything nice??

babyblue - good to have you back hun, where have you been hiding? although, when i wasnt due to cycle soon, i took a break too, so completely understand! fantastic news about your donor and the severe male factor. thats so positive! that certainly gives me hope too!! not sure who else will be cycling with you in sep/oct but if you go back a couple of pages, you'll find welshbugger's fantastic list and you can have a look. if this is another BFN for me, i wont be ready by october but wont be far behind you!

jen1d - what a nightmare!! oh, i hate panic moments like that! dont they have an emergency number?! think you made the right decision though so good on you for keeping such a cool head!! i remember panicking last thursday when i realised dh had put all my medicine (over £600 worth!) to the back of the fridge so the boxes froze! thank god the medicine didnt though! anyway, let us know what the doc says today!!

how come you cant do the ticker?? you just go to tickerfactory.com, follow the instructions for "event" and then copy and paste the link in your profile. i'll send you more detailed instructions if you want?!

great that you had a chat with J and managed to be honest with each other. he does really have a special place in your heart, doesnt he? thats so lovely!

aauuunnnntttyyyyy!!!!!!!! great to have you back hun!! started to get worried about you. but then again i know what moving is like so not to worry!!! got any pics of your new house hunny?? ive also noticed your ticker!! how exciting!!!!!!!!!!!

pequele - god, your body sounds tricky. we moved straight to IVF so cant help i'm afraid (does that mean i'm gonna lose my valued thingamebob?? no, just like welshbugger said, it merely shows that i can talk for the world! ppsssst, pequele, i learnt from the best...welshbugger! but dont tell her i said that  ). hope you get things sorted with your ovulation. do you not get help from any docs??

lara - blimey, you're up early on a sat....and i can gather from that you have no sun?!???? whats going on, its lovely here. come down here for a cuppa if you want! thanks for cheering my follies on....i hope they gonna listen to cyber-aunty-lara. will update you all tomorrow as soon as i get back! you got anything nice planned for the weekend??

carolyn - hope you're ok...how did yesterday go?? xxx

nimble - your app is next week if i remember rightly. good luck hun!

hi to everyone else!!! dh is working today and tomorrow (covering for other people on holiday) so have the whole weekend to myself. we had some french doors put into the back of the front room last year and managed to build a veranda from them last month so it's nice and big, witha a big table and chairs and plants to sit on. lovely, so thats what i'll be doing today, resting my follies!

Hi Ladies

Long Satrurday morning catch up post coming on.........

Aunty - great to have you back. We have missed you too. Great ticker

Shantala - think that they really like them to be around 17mm - 19mm when they trigger you. Those then mature on. It is such a juggling act but they are trying to get the best number for you right in the range. There are usually some that may be a 'little past there best' and some that are immature. Mine grow at about 2mm per shot so with two extra days then you should have some good ones in the optimal range. The big ones may slow down as well hun. It sounds like you will have a pretty good crop. Well done on the Valued Contributor. Part of an exclusive club now hun (Ha HA) Very best of luck for the scan tomorrow sweetie. Glad that you are planning a nice relaxing 'dh free' weekend  Mine is off on the golf course today and tomorrow

Jayne - Hope funeral was not too bad for you & dh. I have been to York racing when Ascot was there a couple of years ago. It is a lovely course and a great day out. You should get it organised!!! How was the acu, I am a real fan even though it has not helped me so far. Hope that the appointment next week will give you some answers. They have run a lot of tests so hope that will give them loads of info so they can adjust things for next time

Rachel - afraid that the sun is in London hun! That is great news that you already lost almost all the weight from the hols. You have done so well that I am sure the little extra from the holiday will soon be gone & then you will be back going down even further. Bet everyone is saying how great you look. Have a great weekend and a wonderful 7th wedding anniversary with your dh

Pequele - I found that CM was so confusing that I gave up trying to use it. I had to rely on the pee sticks and temperature. I would trust those. After coming off BCP then it can take a long time for you to ovulate. I am sure that you will not have missed it at the start of the month so afraid that I think that you have to keep going. What day are you on now? Think that the latest that I might have surged would be around D21.
Hope that it is soon for you as much be so frustrating for you

Jen1d - so sorry that you have this level of stress with the pills. I am sure that it will all be fine. Hope that they call you early today and that you can get sorted at a chemist that is open this morning. Big hugs pal. Why can't you do a ticker. Go to ticker facory and pick Event. Then you just chose your ticker and the icon that moves and put in the text. Then you just cut and paste the code into your profile. Give it a go. It helps to see it count down. I'll mail later. Clean sheets - yep love them. Makes me feel that ours should go in the wash today

Nimble - what news? Are you on your fab holiday now hun?

John - good luck to you & Terana for the 2ww. We will keeping everything crossed that it is a BFP for you

JB - cannot wait for you to get back and tell us all about your trip to Big B. Hope that it all went really well for you

Gill - Thanks for the info re-the clinic and the hotel. Jen1d told me about that hotel too so that is were I booked. I'm glad that you found the epigenetics thing helpful, I thought that it was amazing and really helped me come to terms with it all. Glad that they called you back. That is great to hear that they are responsive. You really are very close now. Crossing everything for you

Kim - that is awesome news that they have found you a donor with a great track record. That is not too far away either now. Hope that I will be right behind you!

Becky - thanks for being such a fab support. Made me laugh with the stand up in the office piece. You are so darn funny. We are all brave & strong to have come this far. Hard yards as someone else told me!

Vicki - so kind of you to drop by & keep an eye on me. Thank you. We looked at IVI which I know Hammersmith work with. ARGC mentioned IVI yesterday too us as well as IM and said that they were both excellent clinics. We just decided on IM as the wait list seemed slightly shorter when we last spoke with Mr Trew but not sure whether that is still the case??? Will be great to compare notes. Which thread are you on? Why not come and join us. There are already 4 ladies going to Barcelona (including me) and Kim using a donor too. So this would be a great place for you to hang out. Good Luck. Stay in touch

Well where to start. Races on Wednesday was fab. Hot and sunny. One friend knew that it had just been another -ve for us so he had told everyone (I guess) so everyone was nice to us but did not say anything which was good to be able to forget. I backed 3 winners! Better than anyone else. Well up on the day so no need to cash point for a while. It was so nice for dh and I to spend sometime together and not be at hospital/dr/clinic etc etc Did us both good.

Barcelona called me yesterday and offered us an appointment on Tuesday - cancellation. We just cannot get all the required tests done by then which is a shame but seemed almost too quick for me. So hope that they might call us again when we are more organised and have had the tests done in a couple of weeks. I was pleased that they thought of us. Clearly the begging e-mails did some good!

So to follow up. He was very honest which is great. Bottom line is that I respond well but the egg quality is very poor. In my heart of hearts I knew that. Of the 23 they collected, he only considered 1 to be good and 1 to be ok. He spent lots of time explaining the issues. The fluid in the egg around the nuclei should be clear and for me it is dark, murky and fragmented. And when they inject the sperm in the eggs are so fragile that they leak too. Basically - rubbish. Dh's sperm shows more abnormailities than you would expect too - thought that he might suggest double donation - but he thinks that dh's swimmers should be ok with ICSI & better eggs. Plus my hormone levels fluctuate madly. He said that the combination of all of these issues would be extremely hard (maybe not quite impossible). They would be happy for us to have a 5th try there. Basically long protocol again. They would start the drugs slower and then ramp them up and give me a slightly different mix. But he basically made us think that we would be looking for a needle in a haystack as he thinks that off the 50 collected that most are bad. Probably more than just age as so many are bad so likely that the auto immune disorder played a part although we will never know. This helps me a little as it started just before I started seeing my dh. So even if we had started straight away, the issue might still have been there.

He mentioned donor eggs to us. He said that it would really increase the odds of success. He recommended Spain and said that both IVI and IM were great. They would work with IM to ensure that issues like the fact that I always bleed on D11 where addressed plus check my immunes again for me again to ensure that I don't reject the embies. They would do scans here and would take over all the meds and support should I get a BFP. I was so happy about this as they are just down the road and I know that I could drop in if I have any issues at all. That is very reassuring.

We did not decide on the spot but we filled in all the paperwork to get copies of our notes for Barcelona. Few tears last night as it really is the end of the road for my eggs and a genetic child. I have felt that this was the case for some time but it is good and bad to hear it cleraly explained. I thought that dh would feel that I should have a 5th try as this was offered but was more certain that we should go to Barcelona afterwards. Think that he felt that I cannot keep going through this and suffering the crushing defeat anymore and that the writing is on the wall.

So looks like I will now truely be part of the BigB gang!!!

Enjoy the weekend ladies. Bet you are relieved that this post is finally over!

Lots of Love
Carolyn

Oh, i'm so sad for your and dh. Your post is just like mine a few months ago, i could have easily written it.
Both done 4 cycles, both have to grieve for our own biological child, both got a choice about 5th cycle with own eggs but probably be only 20% chance so both need a ed now. This ivf life is crap and so unfair.

I think you know in your head what you have decided anyway but it doesnt make it any easier---believe me. Even going through this process in Big B, i still am having neg thoughts about if it works and how i will feel as its not genetically mine etc etc.
Its our only chance though and lets look on the positive side, we have a 60% chance of a BFP

Hang in there babe, am here for you anytime.

Hi ladies,

Aunty, welcome back, hope you are nicely settled into the new house. love your ticker, time flies your time will be here before you know it.

carolyn, i am so sorry, but it sounds like you got very good advice and the support from them is fantastic, i know personally my DH will not consider donor and I won't adopt/foster so if we get bad news on thursday it could be all over for us. As a last resort i want to do PGD testing next time so if that doesn't work we know we tried everything and it was not meant to be. wassupposed to go two yers ago for Sil hen night but her sister never got it organised, its only 40 minutes drive for us, and i have a friend lives in York.

rachael, well done on losing the holiday weight, my diet went out the window again. glad you got to keep the house as you like it, in laws drive you mad. Enjoy your weekend, and have a lovely anniversary.

Jen1, glad you had agood chat with J, i hope it all works out well for them, i am sure you will give lots of support, especially when you'll be in the same boat in a couple of months. you sound a lot happier, i guess the councelling is working, keep up the pma, not long now.

Jb, hope your trip went well, and your rareing to go, bet bigb was very hot.

well as for me getting excited about my few days off next week, am stuck at work again today, staff holidays, got to kick his ass when he gets back as he lost us some business last week due to being a lazy sod. Mum has come back from spain for 6 weeks so going out tonight, indian then a few drinks, probably end up in the casino. Mum and dad have decided to sell their flat, which to be honest is far easier for me to sort out, just give the keys to the agent and let them get on with it. Anyway thats all from me, enjoy the weekend ladies.

Hi Lady's it's really good to be back thank you for the welcomes....

First i want to try to give Shantala some reassurance, im not sure if you remember my last cycle it was a nightmare they said i only had a few follies that looked good then right at the end before EC my E2 level dropped by 100's so i was told i had ovulated most of the good follies i had and not to expect much from EC...well we got 14 eggs 12 mature and 11 embies so try not to fret too much about the scans and the numbers you could just be amazed by what you get...i love that they let you go longer i know with mine if i have 2-3 that are around 21-22 and the others are 18> then we get almost 100% mature eggs .. come on Image

Carolyn sending you hugs i was going to PM you but i dont think you need to hear from me sounds like you have a great plan ...

Jen i understand how you feel "will i love a baby thats not part me" to be honest i would have said i couldnt or really didnt think i would be able to BUT i used to be a step mommy (well in my heart i still am) and i got my Son at age 3 as the years went on he became more like me than his dad he will always be my little boy so i can only imagine carrying your baby, and im sure you will be amazed how that first kick takes away any doubt ( i know you know this really) and i know your going to be an amazing mommy ...hugs

Rachel hey there...hugs yeah we are still going to do the foster care as soon as we have unpacked i will be filling out all the forms see what God brings us there we are also looking into embryo adoption (exciting) and i want to do womb lending (surrogacy) how are things with you?

pequele i feel for you those ovulation pee sticks are a pain did anyone tell you they dont always work? mine never shows up on them i have to have a blood test to check for ovulation

Kim how exciting well almost it really will come around so fast so excited for you

love to everyone else have to go clear up all the branches from the yard we had a big storm last night now we have a bald tree...LOL man it's so hot here ...bye for now sweaty Aunty ...mmmm yum
Me 42 ,DH 45 ...3 IVF's BFN

Hi buds

Wow what a weekend so far an its not over yet.
So, yesterday i had to call the clinic as they sent me an email saying i had to increase my medi to 2 pills a day but i've only got 3 left :?: Anyway i eventually got someone but he didnt have a clue what to do. I eventually made the decision  and have stuck to my 1 tablet a day until i finish them on Monday.
Anyway the saga continues. The Dr was meant to call us this morning to confirm what we should do----yep you guessed, no call. I had to call the clinic back and after a couple of calls they confirmed i must take 1 tablet only.
However i then started af today, so i had to call the emergency line. We couldnt get through for ages and when we did they said they would get a Dr to call me in the next hour------nobody has called since :x
I now feel pissed off with the clinic as they must know we are worried plus i'm concerned about my af arriving as its not meant to be here until 2-4 days after i finish my pill on the 3rd.
Does this mean the ed will not be at the same stage as me now??????????? The clinic better not pospone me for another month. The guy i spoke to on the phone sounded surprised i have taken 2 boxes of pill and not just one----maybe this was so the ed could catch up with me.

Oh, i feel so mad with them and a little scared that we have the worst bit coming up and they cant even get someone to call you when you ring the emergency line----hope i dont have a worse emergency
I feel, crap, confused, worried and exhausted now, i've had enough of this ivf crap. I just hope they answer my email as soon as possible.
Just when i was beginning to feel a bit better this happens :x

Aunty - So glad your back and thaks for the advice, you are so right and i'm sure all the worries will be miles away when i feel the first kick. Thanks babe, now away you go and get the sun cream slapped on

Jayne - Soryy, what did you say about me sounding much happier lol. Oh the stress, its so hard eh. Go easy in the casino

Ok, off to chill for the rest of the night
Have a good weekend.

Love

Jen x

Jen1d...Sorry to step in, but saw your frustration...What is the http address picture or ticker you're trying to insert? Well take that, and insert "[img]"%20before%20the%20http%20and%20"[/img]" after the .gif or .png extension at the end (without the quote marks)...That should do the trick...Good luck sweetie...

Jen...my ticker was messed up the last post, too...not sure it will work today!! Guess I'll see.

Shantala- I see a doc, but I'm just beginning...practicing this month (my first off B/C) that really is my problem.

Carolyn- My heart aches for you and your decisions you must make. I hope whatever road you travel that it provides you with a BFP and a bouncy, healthy munchkin 9 months later! Was it your current doc or the one in Barcelona that critiqued your eggs? If it is the local guy, maybe Barcelona has a brighter outlook???

Aunty- I don't wanna do blood! I wound up as it is with a $1000+ lab bill (for pre-work up!) I can't handle more! I know though...if it is for the best I'd do it, luckily I just have practice this month...or more!

As for the update...Today (Saturday) is day 21 Thurs and Fri my temp seemed to have gone up about 0.4F. Stupid CM was allll over the place. I peed on stick on Friday at 2pm...pretty light (normal for this brand). And CM was I guess eggwhite, I can't friggen tell!!! I figured I'd give up if my temp was up again this morning. So when I woke up I took my temp....it was back down where it was prior!!!! WTF! So since I work today I peed for my 1st morning urine and guess what...darkest it has ever been and PRETTY close to reference line! Keep in mind I was only asleep for about 6 hrs and this is at 6:30am. CM was plentiful (and again I guess eggwhite) as well during the day. I get home from work about 7:30p and pee on stick again...WAAAAYYYYY light (barely there)...typical result for me. I am going bonkers!!! Do you think I actually saw my surge this morning???

AARRRGGHHHH

I would say that prob was ur surge. I've been told to always test first thing as its not concentrated enough later in the day. My nurse also recommended using clearblue digital tests as these give a definate yes or no and no need to work out whether the lines dark enough. They're the most exensive but I think its worth it for reducing the stress.

When do you start your first iui cycle?

Looks like mine will be cancelled again this time as last scan at cd20 showed follies stopped growing at 12-13mm. Going for scan again Tues (cd25) just in case as I sometimes have long cycles but start prob injections next time as clomid seems to have stopped working after 2 cycles.

Has anyone else had this happen? I was really stressed this cycle so that may be why.
38,single.ttc with iuid
3 cycles 100mg clomid-BFN
2 cycles menopur-BFN
Nov 07 menopur-BFP!!
Ist scan 13/12 - 1 perfect heartbeat

Hi Ladies

Just did a long post and then it disappeared  At least the sun is shining  8)

Firstly, I want to see if I can help somebody with some meds. Now it is clear that we will not be doing another Fresh cycle I hope that someone can make use of what I have left over and save some money. I will offer on here first and then post on the general thread. Just hate to see them go to waste when they are so expensive. Plus one lot of the stimmies needs to be used in the next couple of months.

What goodies do I have........

5000IU Pregnyl - trigger shot - in fridge - good til November 2009

3 pre-filled Clexane Syringes (Heparin) - 20mg/0.2ml - good til March 2010

1 Cetrotide 0.25mg complete syringe set - Feb 2009

3 X 150 IU Merional (stimmies = expensive) - these are only dated Sep 2007

2 X 75 IU Merional - dated Sept 2008

..............all are unopened. Can send bits and pieces as required. If of no use here then I will post on the main thread next weekend. If you want then PM me what you can make use of and the address to send them to.

Squeezan - welcome to the thread. Hope that the follies put on a spurt before Tuesday. Afraid that I cannot help. Sure that someone else may be able to. Just never did IUI/Clomid as needed to go straight to IVF

Pequele - My guess would be that was your surge. Guess if you have more pee sticks then I would try again this morning if you can. May be ever darker. My brand says that you can do anytime of day but you must be consistent with the time of day so may be best to stick with mornings. The comments on the eggs were from my current clinic, not Barcelona. I really respect their honesty. It would be more in their interests to give me/us false hope so that we did another Fresh cycle there (at circa £8,000). They are the best (statistically) clinic in the country so I don't feel the need to get a second opinion. When you get 1 good egg from 23 - you know that the writing is on the wall. I am more ticked off that my last clinic gave us three attempts and never explained to us that dh's sperm had higher abnormalities than they would have expected (so we did IVF rather than ICSI) or how my eggs looked. Not that it would have made much difference - I said 4 Fresh cycles at the on set. It is actually a relief for someone to have given us a better explanation and the licence not to feel like we have to have more Fresh cycles. Does that make sense? I just want to be pregnant and will do what ever it takes

Jen1d - I am so sorry that you are having a bad time and we cannot even help you sort out your ticker! Hugs babe. It is the bbCode that you need to cut and paste in. I picked the wrong code before too and just got the words. I am so sorry that the clinic has not been calling you back. That is bad. I am sure that they will be able to keep you on the patches for a few extra days and get you synched up. Ladies have different length periods so they must be used to re-gigging things by a few days. I am sure that it will be alright. Sure that the 2 boxes of pills were just to get you in synch in the first place. Hope that you hear from them soon. Be strong, you are getting so close. Huge hugs. You know where I am if you need me

Aunty - hope that you & Sam are really pleased with your new home

Shantala - so hope that scan today goes well for you and that the follies have grown nicely. So close to EC now. Have everything crossed for you

Jayne - I know everyone is different but my dh would not countenance donor eggs, even just a few months ago. Things do change. He knows how much I want us to have a family and as you go through this then things that did not seem feasible at some stage then become the only way forward. Hope that the tests will give you good answers. Interestingly we paid for PGS but they told us that the eggs would have been too weak even for that. Had they done that then the chances were that we would have had nothing to transfer. Agree that it is good to ensure that you have explored all options. Hope that you had a good time at the casino! Hi all

sorry jthis will be quicky and mainly about me...I flew back yest and stayed at parents home late last nght. I have been catching up with a weeks worth of emails/posts and holiday laundry. So am just having a flying visit and catch up with all your posts tomorrow. I know IM buddies Jen that you have had a time of it hope all gets sorted soon for you hun....Gill hope your recoveing from op now. x x Carolyn good to hear you are going gto Im and have appointment date next month x x x

Love to everyone else ...To everyone thanks for all your loving support...you are great...

We had some fab time away in Gairloch weather was dry and warmish. flew out to Brcelona on Thurs night. we stayed in a lovely apart /hotel which had a lovely resturant where we had dinner. (it included breakfast in the price) WE left the next morn at 9am and had a 15 min walk to IM. Roastin hot at that time of the morn but we coped. Filled in usual forms and DH went to give sample. Although the rubber glove he had to use wouldn't have fitted Kylie Minogue( very small) he mananged ok in the end .

We met with a lady gyno Doc called Monica. Who we will be in contact with all our tmt, and she will do ET. She went through all the tmt cycle. Meds the sanme as Jen and Gills . The donor is found through eye hair height and weight comparancies. And we aslo have a back up donor just incase something goes wrong or donor has life problems ( family death etc) so has to abort tmt. So thats good to know we have a couple of donors. The donor is 18-35 years old and will have been screened medically and psychologiclly to go through stimming and egg donor.

we then spoke through our past cycles of natural preg and ivf tmts. because of the ectopics she suggested we pay 150 euros ( 90 quid) for uterus lining biopsy tests for cell abnormallities and deep infection. So as well as catheter test for ET i had a womb biopsy.( Results in 3-4 wks) B'dy hell!!!!!!  was that painful.!!!!!! I really struggled with it but the pain is now just a dull ache . and at least it wass done there and then . Dh said afterwards that he would need to watch when i give birth that i don't crush his hands to bits like i did then :? We are both excited as we were given a 60% chance of BFP (the highest rate since before 1st ectopic) of conceiving. And we had a 3% with chance with own eggs so deffo a plus this DE.
So have much Hope at the moment. In the scan we saw follie growing so i am still ovulating so no menopause yet!!! Just mixed up AF's. I did have a bigger bleed wheni was away on hols so hope that af does arrive on the 26th Aug...hopefully on time....

anyway must go now as i have a BIG heap of laundry to do and ironing. Plus i want a kip this avo as i am a tired jen

love to you all
and thanks agin for all the support x x

love jen B

hey ladies

JB - great to hear from you hunny!!!!! wow, you sound so positive and it sounds like you have a plan! sorry that the biopsy hurt so much...ouch!! but at least you're ok now. and 2 donors is fantastic!! oohhh, so excited for you hun!

carolyn - you're such a sweetie about the meds. ive got all of mine and hopefully wont need any in the future! had to laugh about your "lost all my post but at least the sun is shining" comment. makes everything so much better when the sun is out, doesnt it?! its gorgeous here!! i'm also sorry to hear about your donor decision but feel that you feel its the right thing to do and thats what you need. at the end of the day, you'll be carrying that baby and giving birth to it and thats what counts. although i understand that decision must be hard. we're right behind you!!!

squeezan - sorry, cant help as i went straight to IVF like carolyn. but hope someone on here knows. good luck!!

pequele - same as squeezan, i cant help i'm afraid but it sounds like it could have been your surge. hhmmmm, not sure. good luck!

jen1d - have you tried the tips from carolyn and charity?? it's the first code that comes out.....hope you're having a good weekend!! i'm not surprised that you are peed with your clinic, thats terrible services. let us know what's going on as soon as you know! fingers crossed for you hun!!

aunty - thank you sooooo much for the reassurance. i read your post last night and it managed to give me a good nights sleep. really appreciate it! how did the move go hun? good to have you back!!

beachbaby - not long till you get some time off. i can really empathise, i have this coming week off and had last thursday and friday off. enjoy!! hope your weather is as nice as here next week so you can enjoy it even more!!

hi to everyone else!!!!!!!!!!!! gill, nimble, lara, welshbugger, sorry if ive missed anyone!

well, now my news......went for a follie scan this morning (nurse took her time and scanned me for over 30 minutes!! great service on a sunday when its not busy! )....anyway, i'm triggering tonight for EC on tuesday!!! woooohooooo!!!!! i have loads of follies, over 30 (including small ones), which is more than double from last time. and i'm on the same dose as last time!! i have 2 that are 23 and 21 mm, 9 that are between 16 and 18mm, 7 that are 14-15mm and the rest are below 13. Wow! really pleased with that and hoping i get more mature eggs this time. so, very excited to be triggering tonight at 11.30pm. drug free day tomorrow, woohoo!!! aunty, you're so right and carolyn, thanks. aunty, your "grow, follies, grow" must have worked! you never know, dare i say it, we may get some to freeze. but i'm trying not to get too excited as nothing is granted in this game!!! so taking a day at a time.

the nurse did say that although we have bigger follies and more we may still only get a small number of mature eggs and it could be that my ovaries simply produce lots of immature eggs. in which case there is nothing they can do. so guess we'll have to just wait and see.

bye for now!!! :D :D

 Hi

Yep a smile, dont know howi managed it especially with this crap weather

Well after our major drama this weekend, we are now fine. Big B called again twice today and its all sorted, thank god. The Doc said i had breakthrough bleeding and i should take my last tablet tomorrow then i will bleed again in about 2-4 days then start the patches.
We are due to have a scan in the next 10 days then ET should be anything from the 20th-28th, so they think, but as you know with this game, it can change in a second

Anyway everything seems to be fine and they told me today that the ed is fine and is at the same stage as me, which is reassuring. Seems strange to think there is someone over in BigB who is doing this for us, she must be wondering about us to eh :?:

The clinic apologised for not replying quickly but reassured us this is due to Dr being busy at the weekend. Anyway they are forgiven as they are always so polite.

Shantala - Good luck with EC, cant wait to hear your news.

JenB - Brilliant you are back and already for your cycle, it will be here before you know it.

Squeezan - welcome to the thread. Sorry to hear about your cycle, i will keep everythig crossed that scan goes well for you, let us know.

Carolyn - I know plenty of clients i work with who would love to get their hands on all your drugs---unfortunately it wouldnt be legal

Hi to everyone else, thinking of you all.

Sorry its short and sweet, going to chill as have been busy all weekend then the ticker will be put to the test again, thanks for all your help

Love Jen x

Shantala - hope that trigger went well. Scan sounds very positive. Very best of luck for EC on Tuesday. At work tomorrow and loads to do so thought best to wish you well tonight so I don't miss your big day. Hope that they get lots of lovely mature eggs for you

JB - So good to have you back and read all your news. I'll take those odds too! Glad that the visit went well

Jen1d - glad that you are managing the odd smiley & that the clinic called twice today. Getting very close for you babe with scan in 10 days

Enough for me. Just had an hour on the phone with my Mum. Just back from their holidays and I have only communicated via text up until now as needed time to get my head together. Was good to tell her all that has happened and my voice only went wobbly once.

Night night ladies. Have a good week.

Love
Carolyn
