Lara, I know I wish that they would have told me, and I guess it is highly possible that they did because I was in the room with the IVF nurse for like an hour that day so with all the info she may have. But it is cool. I had two nurses reassure me.

well -- sorry i didn't get on last night....didn't get home til after 7pm only to discover dh has the man flu
and so, eventhough he's in the doghouse still -- i had to tend to him..... what a nice wife i am!! he's damn lucky to have me!!! SO -- new clinic......TOTALLY FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm not going back to old clinic.....nope......(i was afraid this might happen) new RE (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HER) says "you don't need a gestational carrier.....this is not about YOU.......it is your HUSBANDS SMOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (nice)........says the carcinogens (sp??) directly affect the dna make up of little spermies and that causes them to be fragmented ------ which causes embies to "start out good" -- but just not be able to hang in for the long haul..........says she needs him to quit for 72 days --- thats how long it takes to make new swimmers....... that he can smoke himself dead after we get what we need, but thats what it will take at this point.....she's CONFIDENT that this is the issue based on my history and prior med protocols.....she doesn't think is "implant failure" issue at all..........YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she also discussed donor sperm --- just saying that IF there was an ounce of interest in going this route --- that she'd switch me to IUI cuz wouldn't need IVF ($$$)..........AND -- she's SO confident that this is the issue that she's willing to go to bat to get us into the refund guarantee program!!!!! unfortunately - dh did not go to this appt w/ me.....and i honestly don't know if he can/will stop (???) so i have some more bridges to cross, but i'm real excited about the new direction!!!!! i'm SO glad you guys talked me into setting up appt at new clinic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angie- WOOOOOOO I'm loving your new clinic!!!!! I think attitude is 90% of the game and that is sooooo awesome they have so much hope for you! Did you approach DH at all about it last nite? Would he be open to DS? Has he tried Chantix to stop smoking?
Angel- oh I'm so sorry you have been sick! That sooo sucks! Maybe you body is just trying to train you for morning sickness with the tripletts! That is so exciting, I'm glad you chose 3...that means when they all split you can have your own Jon & Kate + 8 show...but it would be Angel & DH +6!!!!

As far as my blood work goes, I went in today at 7...I called at 9. Not back yet....DAMN I am heading to my parents allllll day so she will call my cell when it is in. If it isn't on there now I won't get back til tonite to report...sorry! BUT I poas AGAIN today hehe...it was WAY darker...showed up immediately, DEFINITELY there. So I feel good so far today haha.

YEE-HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was talkin bout you yesterday w/ new doc -- just saying "yeah, i have friend doing IUI" --- cuz she was saying they do TWO inseminations per cycle.....a day apart... and apparently they're success rates are pretty damn good!!! they don't have anything on file yet w/ cdc cuz they are JUST celebrating their ONE YEAR anniversary.....for THIS clinic LOCATION....they are affiliate of RMA - New Jersey.......and moreover --- have doc from CCRM....they have HUGE credentials.....
yep - i'm lovin my new clinic too....AND i even told her "look - i don't want you to blow smoke up my arse about this.....i want your honest, professional opinion...if you don't think we should move forward, then i'm at a point where i'm ready to concede to that....but otherwise......" and she basically said "look - i have a lot on the line by saying YES to you w/ 2 prior chemical bfn's.....i would not take you on as my patient and go to bat for your w/ the refund guarantee program unless i thought we could get you a baby!!!" YEAH!!! far as DS ----- right now, not an option...... i really, really, really WANT dh's swimmers......i want a part of him w/ me forever and ever.....HOWEVER, i'm not opposed to ds if that's what it comes down to.....and no -- didn't discuss the "no smoking" details w/ dh last night -- he looked/sounded like death warmed over......was NOT the time to do it.......

I soooo agree with you Angie. Finally a doc that points out that hey were are not doing anything wrong if they would just quit those damn cigarettes we would not have this issue right???
I hope it does not take the doc saying I have a BFN after ivf to get him to quit. I honestly don't know if I could do it again. I think I would be too mad if the doc finally says that, you know?

Girls This is going to sound very selfish but i dont know if i cant come onto the site much longer. I am having real problems and feel so low and am just so unhappy. I just want to have some good news and unfortunately that is never going to happen now. Having my Own baby was stripped from me after cycle no 4 and i cant deal with the pain any longer.
Yes i have a chance of adoption but although i'm sure it will be great---doesnt feel like it just now----i cant help grieve for me and dh's own child.
I feel visiting the site just now is too painful. Might feel different about this in a week, 1 month, 3 months who knows. Hope you understand.
Just to let you know i passed all my stuff and was accepted for the police so have that to focus on and have the social worker visiting weekly to do our forms for the Panel, so i'm hoping this will keep me busy and try to help heal the pain.
