Well well, look who's back - Queen Becks herself :D Woo...hooo!!!! Don't you dare go deserting us again :x

Can't you make a list of things that Brian can do around the house on his own, so that you can get on the computer to us    You're lucky that the weather's been quite good so far. Enjoy the rest of your week off. You never told us - did AF come???

Carolyn, glad you found the counselling useful. Did you say there is a 12 month waiting list of EDs??? :?

Ok, I don't know the validity of this idea but definitely read somewhere a while back that some woman who did not want to wait for too long for an ED privately advertised for one in the local newspapers and said she would reimburse expenses incurred. Now I don't know more details about how it all works, but may be worth talking to your clinic about whether that is an option?

This website has a list of all clinics in the UK, I used the IVF league table to pick our clinic. Its seems a bit OTT to me, but if calling them all will help, then maybe try doing that while you are off work.

When do you go camping? Just so I know to take my umbrella with me then    Must admit, the idea of camping does not appeal to me at all - I like my homely comforts. As DH says I'm too much of a princess to go camping. :D

Does that mean you won't be online?

Mir - in uk - egg donors do not get paid - that is why there is such a shortage - you can advertise and see if people will donate and help you move up the list or if you know someone who will donate eggs to you - not going down that route though. If go abroad donors get paid and that is why lists are shorter .. still looking in to which option to do :? :?

Sounds like you had horrible day at work today!

Well after 4 days of sunshine here the rain has arrived ready for camping .. believe me I too like the luxury, but compromise of health farm trips is a couple of weekends of camping a year as DH loves it .. don't mind the tent just can't stand not having en suite toilet .. I hate the treck across the field in the middle of the night for a wee   No need to worry about appearance either as can't straighten hair!!!! It will be fun - we love the area we are going to so will just be good to chill and vivsit the local pubs :)

Off to gym for not so fit assessment

catch you all later xxx

I'm here.....I'm here.......

Definitely like the idea of princess more than wise one

Was in meetings all morning. I really hate work at the moment. Too much pressure as we're short staffed and everytime my boss comes he makes me feel like I haven't done much  I've put in more hours than normal which I won't even be paid for. I also have to manage my team and am the main point of contact with the client and he doesn't seem to count that as work. Grrrr.........Like I just spent 3 hours in meetings with the clients and then briefing my team. So obviously I haven't done much of my own work.

Check with you all later.

Why, I have my share of the kingdom to rule

If I was really important, I wouldn't have a boss (or 3 bosses in my case) to report to. I wish I was the boss. Afraid I'm just one more person in the corporate world. Lets put it this way, no one would miss me if I was gone.

I would love to look for another job, but I have spoken to someone at work (my immediate boss - see I have to many bosses to report to). And he's been very good about it so far. Typical bloke, can't really show much understanding but he has been supportive during the times I'm actually going through tmt. So for now will have to stay put.

I was laughing when I saw the weather forecast - apparently there are going to be "showers" the next few days.   Thought about you camping and your heels getting stuck in the mud in the middle of the field.

At least sunday will be nice so we will be able to pack away a dry tent

Dammm I knew I had ha forgot to pack something thanks Angel for reminding me about my stillettos!!!! ... think crocs are more the order of the day!

Sorry work has been so crappy for you .. I know I will be going back to exactly the same shit with the addedd bons of having to make the person who covers me for days off/hols/sick etc redundant .. how nice is that .. except he was meant to fonish today but cos I have been off no one done consultation with him - and leaving it for me -- he is a lovely bloke who has worked his balls off while I have been off and just think it is outrageous that they can use him in such a way

Carolyn,
Enjoy your weekend Image

Hopefully the rain will hold off - although it is quite cloudy today.
