Hi ladies,

a quick post just to say THANK YOU for your wonderful posts... it makes me feel less alone and it helps with the waiting. Thank you so much!!!

kerpupples,
Tomorrow you'll be PUPO!!!!! YAY!!!!! How many are they putting back, do you know yet? Oh, we'll all go to the clinic tomorrow, we'll have lots to share! All good news I hope! :D I'll keep you in my thoughts!

Kim,
Yes, the miscarriage was quite a rollercoaster. I spent 5 days in the hospital, sometimes in a lot of pain... I bled very severely at times... one moment I was told the game was over, and the next one gave me hope... when we didn't find the heartbeat at 6 weeks 2 days, we still had to wait another week before the baby's death was confirmed. By that time I was just glad that the emotional limbo was over. But then it took one more week to actually miscarry, because then my body just didn't want to bleed! Just before I took the pills, I lost everything, just in the nick of time.

But today is another day. After the surgery, my body is just not the same. So as I was telling my DH, it's the same symptoms in a different body, so they might mean a completely different thing. Tomorrow I'll be 5 weeks 3 days. They won't find the HB, so I really wonder what they'll look for. Maybe a pole, or a possible source for the bleeding. We'll see.

Either way, I'll think of you tomorrow... I really hope your own ultrasound will go well... I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts dearest.

Hugs,

Sophie

Sophie, they thawed our 6 remaining 4-cell embies this morning. I spoke to the nurse this afternoon and she said that all 6 were still alive! We may actually put back all 6. It's kinda scary but I can't just discard any if they may be viable. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow.

Hope all goes well for both your U/S tomorrow ladies!

kerpupples,

WOW, that's FANTASTIC NEWS!!!! Oh, lots of sticky baby dust for you!!! I SO understand your point of view! I wouldn't have the heart to just let my embies die in their little box either... I hope everything will go well today and I'm eager to have news!!! Welcome to the princess status dear!!! I really hope we can sail through our pregnancies together (again)!!! *HUGS*

Looking forward to hearing from you kim...

Okay, a little about me. First of all, the diluted pink spotting was very stable during early evening, and then nothing during the evening and night and morning. In a word, it has stopped completely. I had strange abdominal pain, but I think it's due to the adherences (surgeries).

It was my doctor this morning, which was fantastic!!! We always get a special treatment (which means he's empathic and nice) because he knows my father and his wife. We did the ultrasound... and we found a sac with a yolk... and a fetal pole!!! So sorry to disappoint some people, but I'm not expecting twins! ;) But this is fantastic news all the same. The doctor measured the sac and I measure about 1 day less than I thought, so around 5 weeks 2 days. He said I could come for the ultrasound as planned next Monday to check the heartbeat. We didn't find any, of course, but we didn't expect to find any. He really took the time to check everything, even went back to check for my cyst, which had developped before the FET. The cyst is gone and my ovary is in sleep mode. He found absolutely no trace of hematoma or bleeding of any kind anywhere. He printed two copies of the ultrasound, with the measures, and gave it to us... one for DH, one for me!

So my dearest friends, this is better news than I was even hoping for. Yesterday, I reread the posts I made on the November Mommies thread... and I was wrong. I thought my miscarriage epic had started with pink spotting... but in fact it started with a gush of bright red blood and pain so intense that I was often bent in two and moaning. The bleeding stopped the first day, and became brown and pinkish, hence my confusion... but then the pain and severe bleeding came back... and some of you know the rest of the story.

So the fact I can't even compare my current situation to what happened last time is a HUGE relief and it changes things a lot for me. Now this little scare does not feel like I'm heading down the same route I took last time, and this makes a huge difference in my attitude. Funny enough, my best friend, who is 3 weeks ahead of me, called me this morning... and she had a pink discharge on Sunday and completely freaked out!!! But it has stopped completely the same day and nothing for the last two days. She spotted after a very long walk with the dogs (1:30). So we reassured each other a lot and from now on we'll just be a bit more careful. which means I'll stop carrying heavy grocery bags around... Being a psychologist who sits down most of the day I won't really make changes to my lifestyle, but I'll just generally take it easy.

So there you go. I can't express how amazing your support was these last 24 hours, and I really want to thank you!!! *HUGS*

Kisses,

Sophie xxox

Sophie, what wonderful news! And who cares if it's not twins - you have a healthy little bean in there. I have high hopes for your U/S next Monday.

My ET went swimmingly this morning. They thawed 3 6-cell and 3 4-cell embies (I thought they were all 4 cell). As of ET there were 2 that were still 4-cell (essentially dead) and one that was an irregular 6-cell that my RE said didn't have much of a chance. However, we also had 2 10++ cell compacted embies and one 10 cell that was also starting to compact. This is better than the cycle where I had a BFP! So we transferred those 3 and are trying to be cautiously optimistic.

My beta is on 9/15.

Kimmy, how did it go today?

Hi Amy:
I am so happy that your ET went so well today. Everything sounds great!!!! PUPO!!!!!
I am happy to report that my u/s went really well today. Baby A and Baby B are measuring 7 wks 1 day and I am 7 wks 3 days. So not bad for FET babies! Hb's are up to 146 and 148 so it looks like Baby A has been very busy this last week. Still not sure why I bled on Saturday...it sure was scary.
I am exhausted today. Very emotional day, I wasn't sure what to expect.
Hugs to all,
Kim

Hello sunshine!!!

WOOHOO! It's nice to have a series of happy posts, isn't it???

Kim,
SO HAPPY that your ultrasound went well!!! As I reread my March posts, I read about a comment my doctor made me... that he often sees, in twin pregnancies, that one of the twins' heartbeat is lower at 6 weeks and that very often, it just picks up the next week and they're in fact both fine. You had already had your ultrasound when I read that... :( I wish I could have told you sooner, but hey! Did you get pics?? I gave DH his copy this morning, he said he really wanted it, I don't know if he'll carry it with him, but I'm sure keeping my copy with me at all times!!! You see nothing really, just a big black oval shape (sack) and the tiniest line where the fetal pole is, but hey, I know what it is and it's thrilling! :D

Kerpupples,
SO GLAD your embies are dividing so well! Oh, I know the feeling, it's so positive when you're transferred embryos that seem so alive and eager to implant! You're PUPO my friend! Sending lots of sticky baby dust and please keep us posted about your 2ww!!!! :D:D:D

Love,

Sophie
