Wow girls - you have been busy!!
Kelly- I'm guessing boy/girl combo, and hope all went smoothly!
Suga- soooo great- to hear mac will be on her way home to see her sis asap! as for what to do with them... I've been told to compare babies 0-4mos to houseplants!

as they just need fed, changed, and sleep- they don't react much and don't even smile for months!!! anyhow- just feeding /changing 2 will be enough to keep you busy and get weight off (and BTW- 6lbs is awesome!!) - don't worry, I am sure you look great!
weezie- the flash cards sound cool, and you sound very well organized for Gavin's arrival- and cookies and food wow- you are nesting for sure!!!
I'm thinking about sign language, too, but to be honest, i'm just sort of focusing on the moment- ummm, get the baby out safely

and then figure out how to breastfeed(

)
cinci- so nice to hear from you! keep safe, I am sorry that your health is not great, but at least you'll be able to meet your baby soon! and the GH will be gone!
Corny- AWESOME!!! Abigail doing great, you looked like you had a marvelous time at the ball game- i check on your blog often-i'll pop over in a bit to see the pix
rio- all i can say is WOW!!!!!!!! 41wks measurement

they can try to turn him, or maybe he'll flip on his own- you're just about 37wks- will they not give it a bit more time before they cscet? then again- f they say 8lbs now, a few more weeks may mean a baby too big for vag birth- however- my friend gave birth to a 10lb 8oz baby vag and with no meds at all- last summer- so while it can be done, i'd probably not recommend it!

our bean seems to have been head down for like the last 2 mos- hope he doesn't decide to flip at the last minute!
mellie- how nice to have a gathering of friends - I'm not sure that i've had any BH, just weird feelings here and there- and a lot of tugs
me- really starting to feel big, puffy feet, achy back- but all in all- pretty great! met with our "birth companion" on Tuesday. She is a nursing student from Johns Hopkins, and they are teaching some of their ob nurses to be Doulas, so she's free! Since Dh is a bit squeamish about blood and me in pain, it seemed like a nice idea for someone neutral to be their on our behalf. She will make sure we understand what the docs/nurses are saying, and help us convey our thoughts as well as massage, help me through contractions, and just make me more comfortable all around. It takes the pressure off dh, and eases my mind. So now, need to get that birth bag together, and figure out how to put the baby seat in the car. Crib is set up in the living space for now, cloth diapers washed and ready to go, baby's room still will have guest bed in it for foreseeable future as mom, mom-in-law, and friends will be coming to assist once baby is here, so that's it, right? -
oh- how are the names going for everyone?
we're still in limbo
that's it for now
much love to all the mommies and babies!!!!!!!!!!!!
October, here we come!!!!!!!!!
