Morning ladies!
Where is everyone??? Are you all snoozing somewhere???

:D Ah, I understand. Believe me, though, it gets better towards week 7-8. Still tired, mind you, but better.
Valerie,
Hi sweetie, I'm so glad you're feeling better! Pupo, PUPO!

Can't wait until Thursday.... how are you doing? How was your weekend?
Stacy,
Must have been very special to hold your little nephew and think that you'll be there in a few months!

hope the wasp sting has gone by now, ouch! Congratulations on the successful ultrasound!

:D I'll update the list, yay!
Amanda,
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Another twins alert! YAY! I'll update the list very soon! Your doctor is right, there is a big margin of error with ultrasounds, it all depends on the angle. Your babies could measure 6w5d one day and 6w7d the day after. How is DH? Is he excited?
beaglebaby,
I'm glad that you'll be joining the thread. I'll add you to the list. How was your weekend?
I had an ok weekend. I was really tired at the end of the week and my PIL arrived from France on Friday evening. We had a great dinner and then we all crashed in bed. The next day, I went to a store and bought a Bella Band. I LOVE IT! So comfortable, and it really takes away the stress. I mean, I now can pick any pants I want from my closet and I know I'll be comfortable all day no matter what amount of bloating I have in the afternoon and evening. It's a complete blessing! And the fabric is really soft. I'll buy their belly leggings for sure!

:D
And I got a little carried away... they have second hand items there, in very good state (as good as new). So I found two pairs of leather slippers. One is white with big ladybugs on it, and the other is blue with frogs. I'll give the blue ones to my best friend tonight at the yoga lesson. I also bought several books, two Beatrix Potter books, one Winnie the Pooh book, and two other books. The Potter books are in English, of course (my first language is French), but I'll use the pictures to plan the decoration of the baby's room (the pictures are SO NICE!).
The pregnancy announcement went ok. The waiter was supposed to show the cake to everybody, but he only showed it to the people at the end of the table, my father's wife and my grandma. I asked my father's wife to read the inscription aloud, and then people understood what was going on and they applauded. They asked all kinds of questions... it was fun when everyone realized what title they would have... uncle Francois, great-auntie Michele, great-grandma, and so on. To be honest, it was a bit stressful for me and I was glad when I was alone with my husband in the car. I know that nobody can truly understand what we've been through to have this baby. They know the events, but not how it felt to go through that marathon, and how emotionally/mentally/financially exhausted you get after a while (the whole thing has been going on since 2003 for us). So the announcement was bittersweet, in a way. It was hard for me to just rejoice as if nothing had happened in the past. But of course this will pass, and now we'll just have fun planning the baby's arrival. I'm glad this is over, to be honest. Now that it's out in the open, we can stop beinf extra-careful about what we say to our family.
Okay, I have a client coming soon, so I'll check out for now. Have fun ladies!
