Hope everyone is doing fine, in spite of sleeping problems and heavy bellies. Now I realized that I am the "youngest" mom in our thread - the oldest in age, for sure! It has been nice to read everyone's experiences. I worry a lot less about not being able to feel them moving after realizing that the real kicks won't come before the 20th week!
Stefanie, I didn't do CVS or amnion. My Brazilian doctor and the perinatologist thought it would be too risky. I don't regret following their advice - I wouldn't "reduce" anyways...plus serious abnormalities that can be addressed by intra-uterus surgery (heart conditions, ect) can be identified with u/s.
SilverAngel, you must the thrilled with the boy/girl combo! I am practicing breathing meditation to go back to sleep sooner after I wake up to change position, then pee, then drink water. I was playing sudoku before but that takes precious minutes of my sleep...Hope you find a way of making yourself comfortable and go back to sleep realy soon.
Crogers, I imagine you joy and DH amazement at the sudden punch of a baby's limb! Enjoy every bit...I mean, every beat!
Stephjim, you are almost there! Please let us know when you pack and go to the maternity! I wish you a calm, healthy delivery - maybe you still have one or two weeks of restful wait

Babyloves, I have experienced numbness in my arms; same in my previous pregnancies. I think it is some change in the way nerves behave during the pregnancy - we walk differently, we probably have different postures...that may cause some strain or bad circulation even on some areas. I try to move positions frequently during the night. I hope you feel better!
Best wishes to all,
Literatriz
