Oh Ladies, it is so great to see all the pics.
Neffi - Jack is adorable, and you guys look so relaxed and happy! Great shots.
Hopeful - Madison is amazing with her hair! The pic of your daughter meeting her for the first time made me so teary.
Crogers - Evan and Emma's shots are great. That is one big, happy and supportive family.
Thanks for posting, you have inspired me to get busy and post too so here you go: http://www.kodakgallery.com/ShareLandin ... leid=en_US

To all of you about to go (sorry I am not getting specific with names, my brain is overwhelmed and sleepy ;-) ): I hear what you are saying about the pelvic pain. I was to the point of shuffling my feet towards the end. The good news is that pain gets relieved instantly and then you barley even remember it was there.

I had my mom here for 3 weeks and it was a god send. Take advantage of family and friends that can help (especially you Jude with two!). It is a crazy ride at first. We have been on our own for only 5 days and it is hard. Amazing and beautiful but so dang busy. It ends up being a huge accomplishment of the day to just get food in your own mouth and take a shower. I am constantly reminding myself to stay in the moment because I know I will look back on these days fondly. It is going to go by so fast for all of us! Enjoy it!

I'll keep watching for the deliveries to come in. Best of luck.[/i]

I had my apt today, I am only a sloppy 2 cm and 60% effaced. I am being induced tues the 3rd if baby has not come by then. I had false labor yesterday. I was so excited because I was sure it was time. It went on for 5 hours!!! Got down to 5 min and 4 sec but then started to go away. My back is still killing me from it though. I must say, after each contraction, I thought I was going to throw up, I was nausous!! In between each contraction, gracie was a wild women!!!

Hey Ladies--

Jack had his one month check up today. Since he was due yesterday, he was pretty average if he'd made it to his due date. He was 7lbs 1 oz and 19 1/2 inches today. He is just under the 50th % calculating in his prematurity The doctor said he looks great.
To all those ladies who haven't gone yet...hang in there, your day will come!

Dakota! Were you going to go to the hospital? I think I would have been out the door when they were that close together! Was it painful during the contractions??
I don't think you will last to be induced! Sounds like Gracie is ready to meet the world. Oh my goodness though, that is only a week tomorrow for the 3rd!!!!!

Neffi - aww, glad that Jack is doing so well. How are you feeling now?

Nothing much going on here, had about 5 contractions in one hour yesterday, but then 3 in the next, and then nothing.....I think it was from all the cleaning I did yesterday!

Next appointment is Wednesday, and I'll pin them down as to whether I really will be induced at 38 weeks which is March 4th.....

neffi- thats great about jack, sounds like he's a real trooper!

jude- we may be induced a day apart!!! I didnt go to the hosiptal because my drs say in order to avoid false laboring at the hosiptal they want you down to 5 mins apart for at least 5 contractions or 30 mins. They didnt hurt, just more so they restricted my breath, what hurt was the back labor that came with it. I am still paying for that today. Also what bothered me more was after each contraction I got flu like symptoms. It was starting to get rough.

Rubylee,

Jude - Sounds like we're on the same path right now, I had something similar last night and then had 4 contractions on my drive home this evening, each 5 minutes apart.

Neffi - Glad to hear Jack is doing great and plumping up, great news!

Dakota - Try not to worry, you could be well on your way in no time..these babies are pretty much in control :) I cannot believe you had contractions for 5 straight hours! My contractions are just in the belly so far, gets really firm kinda like a charlie horse. Last night I also experienced cramping way low, but nothing in my back. I'm worried that I won't know if they're real or not, but also hoping I don't feel like I'm going to throw up. Hang in there, our babies are on their way. :D

We have our weekly OB appt tomorrow morning, so I hope I'm beyond the 1/2cm and 70% effaced from last week! I feel like she's been dropping the past couple of days and trying to get out the trap door, so uncomfortable. I had about 3 hours of contractions last night, but think it had something to do with the 2 miles we walked in the early evening. Then I worked all day today at the office and then had contractions all the way home, so guessing my body was just tired. Other than that, just waiting around for our little one to arrive..we're so ready.

We're almost there ladies, this is so exciting!!

Hi Ladies! Sorry I haven't been able to post an update since my delivery, but I've been busy with Mommy Duty. :)

Zariya Aiyanna (pronounced Zar-ree-ya I-yanna) was born Feb 10th at 8:49am at a whopping 6lbs 4oz via c-section. She came out butt first with her legs spread eagle. I was very nervous during the c-section...I've never been awake during surgery before. But, it turned out better than I'd expected. I kept vomitting the rest of the day and was tired from the anesthesia, but felt much better the next day. I was in the hospital for 3 days, but by the time I got home, I became really sick. I was constipated for a week from the pain meds, suffered with cold spells and chills. On top of that, I had the Baby Blues, which lasted a day....I just kept crying all day for no reason. Thank God it only lasted a day. I'm feeling much better now, but I still get cold spells and chills from time to time. A part of my incision still hasn't healed because of a blood clot under the skin. It keeps draining blood and fluid. I have to see the OB once a week to make sure infection doesn't set in while it's healing. I'm trying to breastfeed, but my milk supply is low, so I have to supplement with formula. I never thought breastfeeding could be so difficult.

Zariya is doing great. She went down to 5lbs 14oz when we bought her home, but she's gaining her weight back now. She's a really good baby...she doesn't cry much, sleeps a lot, and knows how to let you know she's had enough to eat by clinching her lips. It's hard to believe she's already 2wks old. She's truly a blessing...God's gift to me. I've always been told that there's nothing like a mother's love for her child and now I know exactly how that feels.

Neffi, OMG, I can't believe Jack is a month old already! Wow, time flies!

Crogers, I loved the videos....the first one was a tear-jerker, but beautiful and a nice keepsake. I'm so busy with one baby, I can't imagine taking care of twins.

I've seen everyone's pics that were posted. Ladies, your babies are beautiful!

For those of you who are still waiting to have your little bundle of joy, it won't be long now. The time will be here before you know it, and after that, the days will fly by fast. In the meantime, get as much rest as possible, because there will be no such thing as 'rest' after you give birth.
