Hello girlies,
I am at my in-laws in France right now and their keyboard is completely messed up, the keys are in weird places so I won't be long.
Carolyn,
How are you doing sweetheart, you're supposed to be sailing the easiest part of your pregnancy. Have you bought stuff, prepared the room and so on? Hugs to you my friend.
Miracle, how I miss hearing from you my dear friend, for such a long time you were the one who kept us all together, coming back here again and again. How are your furbabies, DH, school?
Lee, oh dear, it's been a while, any travel plans?

Any news on the adoption front?
Vicky, thanks for keeping us posted, crossing fingers and toes that Clomid does the trick!!!
Anyone else? Houston??
As for me, life is sweet and busy, you know me. I spent 3 weeks in France so my in-laws could get to know Jérémie. DH left last Saturday and I'll fly back home by myself with our son. I hope everything will go well. Jérémie is healthy and growing fast. He's already eating solids and is almost able to sit on his own. I'm still madly in love with the little guy.
Other than that, I'm supposed to go back to work at the hospital on April 5th. I have almost zero motivation to do so and I really hope that our next FET will have taken by then, or shortly after. A colleague started a firm and offered me to play an important part in it until I start my own (virtual reality tmts for medical anxiety and phobias). Things are moving super fast and I still don't know where I'll end up... I have an important meeting on the 24th with my friend and former thesis advisor, who is a huge researcher and just started his own virtual reality clinic. He wants to start one in Montreal and I'm at the top of his list. I made him understand that I don't want to be a simple employee/clinician; I need to create, interact with my peers, do research, have intellectual challenges, etc. He accepted to have a meeting, so it's a good sign. If we can make a deal in which my professional needs are met, I'd really prefer to become his business partner than starting a firm on my own. We wouldn't be rivals anyway, but benefiting from his international reputation would make things super easier.
Other than that, you can guess I've started far too many cross-stitch and knitting projects and I don't see the end of it. In addition, I've just learned that my father, his wife, my sisters and brother will celebrate Xmas at our place for the first time ever (suddenly, we became worth the trouble of travelling to Montreal after Jérémie was born... anyway, I just enjoy the benefits). So forget it.... the second I land and reach home I'll jump into my Martha Stewart hero suit and start planning the decoration and food!! A long stay in France is also VERY inspirational!!! (gee I hate the scale right now, lol)
Okay; enough babbling, that keyboard is driving me nuts. Take care ladies and I'll see you around,
