wishfull27 - no plans this year for anymore cycles. We're gonna try the natural way for a while - see if miracles do happen! :) If nothing happens then I'll be going onto Clomid after Christmas for 6 months, and then IF nothing happens we'll be trying a FET! But everything crossed that we don't need the FET! :D

Hope everyone is keeping well x x x

Hello girlies,

I am at my in-laws in France right now and their keyboard is completely messed up, the keys are in weird places so I won't be long.

Carolyn,
How are you doing sweetheart, you're supposed to be sailing the easiest part of your pregnancy. Have you bought stuff, prepared the room and so on? Hugs to you my friend.

Miracle, how I miss hearing from you my dear friend, for such a long time you were the one who kept us all together, coming back here again and again. How are your furbabies, DH, school?

Lee, oh dear, it's been a while, any travel plans? ;) Any news on the adoption front?

Vicky, thanks for keeping us posted, crossing fingers and toes that Clomid does the trick!!!

Anyone else? Houston??

As for me, life is sweet and busy, you know me. I spent 3 weeks in France so my in-laws could get to know Jérémie. DH left last Saturday and I'll fly back home by myself with our son. I hope everything will go well. Jérémie is healthy and growing fast. He's already eating solids and is almost able to sit on his own. I'm still madly in love with the little guy.

Other than that, I'm supposed to go back to work at the hospital on April 5th. I have almost zero motivation to do so and I really hope that our next FET will have taken by then, or shortly after. A colleague started a firm and offered me to play an important part in it until I start my own (virtual reality tmts for medical anxiety and phobias). Things are moving super fast and I still don't know where I'll end up... I have an important meeting on the 24th with my friend and former thesis advisor, who is a huge researcher and just started his own virtual reality clinic. He wants to start one in Montreal and I'm at the top of his list. I made him understand that I don't want to be a simple employee/clinician; I need to create, interact with my peers, do research, have intellectual challenges, etc. He accepted to have a meeting, so it's a good sign. If we can make a deal in which my professional needs are met, I'd really prefer to become his business partner than starting a firm on my own. We wouldn't be rivals anyway, but benefiting from his international reputation would make things super easier.

Other than that, you can guess I've started far too many cross-stitch and knitting projects and I don't see the end of it. In addition, I've just learned that my father, his wife, my sisters and brother will celebrate Xmas at our place for the first time ever (suddenly, we became worth the trouble of travelling to Montreal after Jérémie was born... anyway, I just enjoy the benefits). So forget it.... the second I land and reach home I'll jump into my Martha Stewart hero suit and start planning the decoration and food!! A long stay in France is also VERY inspirational!!! (gee I hate the scale right now, lol)

Okay; enough babbling, that keyboard is driving me nuts. Take care ladies and I'll see you around,

Sophie xxox

Hi All,

Just checking in to see how people are.

Nothing really new with me and DH, although I did manage to know when I was ovulating yeahhhh :D My friend gave me some ovulation tests (which brought her luck and she is due in February!) and I used them all last month and nothing, also my period didn't quite feel like any normal periods - was very light (more of a brown discharge) and I had no period symptoms at all! Which of course i'm not complaining about! ha Anyway I thought I'd randomly test last Thurs and it said I was ovulating!! Even if we don't conceive from it I'm just pleased that we managed to find when I was ovulating!! Was starting to worry that my periods/body weren't getting back to normal.

Fingers crossed we get the best xmas present ever! :D

Hi there

Just popping in to wish my old cycling buddies a very happy new year and hope that your dreams become a reality in 2010.

Carolyn - just seen your post - a very belated congratulations thats fantastic.

Sophie/Beachbaby - so lovely to come on here after such a long time and see you are still posting - so glad to hear all is well.

Mir/Angel/Vicki - I hope you girls are doing ok and you have plans for 2010.

AFM, Eva is growing up so fast, she coming up to 17mnths but more like 17yrs! Keep thinking about having a sibling but the only way is for a little miracle to happen. We are moving to Australia in March so tmt may be a little difficult as not sure how it works down there.

Keep this thread going, it was my life line many moons ago and the girls on here were a godsend. Thank you.

Take care

Hi carolyn,

my SIL is there and she has a 2yr which will be great for Eva - looking forward to it, but still have some reservations but until you try.......

Still keep in touch with Shantala and we have seen each other a few times and then friends with alot of the others through f/book so keep up to date on whats going on.

After I posted then saw that you have twins - that is so great after everything you've been through, what a beautiful ending.......

Hope you're resting and take care - not long to go.....

Hi All,

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas x

Fingers crossed all our dreams come true in 2010! :D

Nothing new with me - unfortunately no baby was conceived after finding out I was ovulating, but at least I knew when I was ovulating! :) And another plus was that I actually started earlier than usual! So all positive in one way!

Will be starting Clomid after February. Me and DH are having a couple of months of no drinking then we'll start taking it - give ourselves a couple of months with no alcohol in our systems before i start taking it probably - let everything build up again!

We're going to book a holiday to Spain for June time. Decided to still live our lives and not let this whole baby buisness control our lives (to some extent anyway!) Plus it'll give us something to look forward to! :D

I hope everyone is keeping well x x x

Hello Ladies

Just wanted to pop in and say Hi incase any of you still read.

Carolyn not long now can't wait to hear your news.

Vicky good luck for feb and starting the clomid will be sending you lots of preggie thoughts!!

Sophie how are you doing with your gorgeous bundle?? He must be getting so big I will have to try and find your photo page again and have a look to see if you have posted any more piccies.

Mir how you doing? Any plans yet to start treatment or have you started all ready? Angie, Angel, Becky Hi too if you are still around.

I do miss all our chats we had, AFM well we may be adopting a 5 yr old little girl who is living with us, we have to apply for her and have it agreed which will be really nerve racking as there are no guarantees, if they don't allow us to we will be waiting at least another 2 yrs so keep all your fingers and toes crossed for us she has been with us a few months and we have grown very fond of her I don't want to give her to someone else!!!

Anyway hope 2010 brings everyone all ther hopes and dreams.

Lots of love Lee xxx
Finally I am a mummy, we are about to adopt our beautiful little girl xxxxx
