Hi Karen;

symptoms:
Mild nausea - nothing bad at all and it comes and goes.. more of a 'queasy' feeling than real nausea
Very sore boobs - itchy too
Heartburn a few times - very odd - never had it before, ever
Some mood swings.

I tested again this afternoon and it is even darker than this mornings - does my heart good to see those tests.... makes me feel happy and at ease!

How are you feeling????

Ronda,

I won't know my exact dates until I'm further along on estrogen. I know my RE wants to keep me on estrogen a few days past what I normally would do since my lining was an issue last time and she wants to make sure I don't get another cancellation!! Friday will be my day 7 and then I go back in day 11 and will probably have a better idea as to when my FET will take place!!!

They are planning on transferring 2 embies that were 8-cell on day 3 and if they don't look "great" they will transfer 3!!!

Sonya-where is the new picture from this afternoon!?!?!?

Hope, I can't believe you might trigger on Friday!!! You started stims 2 days before me, so I hope I am fast two! The gonal f mixed with menopur burns a little sometimes. Maybe since it's such a high dose? My RE said he was hoping to have me do only 9 days of stims this cycle (last month was 12 then the trigger). Oh and my trigger is Ovidrel and I do it myself in my stomach. Not sure what huge needle med some of you have, but I don't want it lol!!! My first S&S is tomorrow morning, and we are getting snow here also.....I hate snow!

thank you to everyone for the kind & supportive words. it really means a lot. dh & i think we need to take a little break, for both physical & emotional reasons. we're thinking maybe may/june. i will be out of school the 3rd week of june. it'll be less stessful with not having to take days off & write substitute plans. i'm off for the entire summer, so it'll be a lot easier in that sense. we do have a f/u appointment with dh's urologist next friday. we want to talk to him about a few things, including this lab i found that does sperm dna fragmentation testing. we may do that...it's like a total of $300. then for the time being until we try again, have dh on a strict regimen of vitamins/minerals/certain foods. i read up all of this official info on how a certain diet has been shown to improve sperm dna. basically no toxins, a lot of organic foods, no chemicals, & lots of viatmins/minerals/antioxidants. then we will re-do the sperm dna fragmentation test to see if possibly there will be an improvement.

i'm sad, angry, frustrated, & so many other emotions. but i have to move on....it's not easy, but i have to look ahead & see what we can do. it is definitely easier said than done.

karen- keep up the pma! i hope your dream comes true!

claudia- you're getting closer to being pupo! fingers are crossed that your lining is the thickest ever! i love snow days too...looks like no school for me tomorrow

sonya- looks & sounds as if you're preggo! can't wait to hear of your bfp on friday!

sarah- welcome to the crazy rollercoaster called IVF!

franny- thanks for putting a smile on my face! that story was really cute & funny :-) lots of luck with your hysteroscopy tomorrow!

hope- wow your er is a lot sooner than what you originally thought! that's great that your ds will be taken care of. how's your mom doing? my prayers are with her...she is a fighter!

ronda- woohoo for the freebie...what a wonderful man your re is! i pray this is for you!

positivethinking- i was actually thinking today that dh & i should do our taxes. we got married this past july, so we're looking forward to a much better return than we got last year individually. yay for starting stims & yes, expect your hormones to not be coorporating, lol. but it's ok :-)

gi- yay for the green light to start stims!

katie- youre so sweet! thank you! the 2ww is enough to make you go insane, but you'll make it through to friday's bfp! i have a good feeling about this. i mean everything that happened, it was meant to be!

miyaya- i love your attitude! i did have my drink on yesterday & the taste of beer was nice. but i'll be honest...a bfp would've been nicer.

j & c- i hope things work out for you....i really do. i will be praying for you.

kim- thank you for the kind words.

tracy- i love your embabies' names...how cute! how goes the bedres?

samantha- thank you. how are you doing? any preggo symptoms yet?

i'm sure i missed some...please know that i'm thinking of all of you & wish everyone nothing but their dreams of bfp's.

love ya,
es

But still - it just took a lot to see 1 line as always. UGH I hate those damn sticks! Why did I do that to myself? Now friday seems even further away - GRRRR! I guess that I've gotten so wrapped up thinking that because they werent my eggs that of course it will work ( if we used my eggs I'd be afraid - heehee) But of course now that i've had a little reality slap - OMG whats next if this IS bfn???? I cant believe that my RE would have any other embies just sitting frozen waiting for a recipient
GREAT cause that thought wont add any more stress, right? *sigh*

PositiveT - I actually go to the Fair Oaks office on regular days, of course Annandale on wknds. Isn't it funny that we have so many SG girls here? I often wonder if we've passed in the office! rlk1 and I cycled together (tho not on here - but in the real world) in March 08 - our DS's are 1 day apart. Too funny. Sorry you're not looking forward to the shots. My DH did mine all my previous cycles, but this time it's too hard to try to plan schedules with work & childcare, so I'm doing it myself. He will have to do the trigger, tho... it's an I/M - also in the hiney... :( but I am SOOO thankful not to have to do the I/M progesterone this time!! Are they having u do that? We are doing SR-med option, so our meds are different this time...

Ronda - I have to wish all 5 of your embies the best in the thaw. I know quints would be insane, but I can't help but wish them all the best! I hope you undertand ;) thaw well, little embabies!!

Franny - I loved your story on the edible arrangements commercial. I would LOVE to see that actually on the commerical!! how funny would that be!?! Course, we'd be the only ones to get it. oh well. and Katie, you could be the model/actress for the job, since you have the practice!!

Katie - quit worrying and relax and let your embabies do their thing!! Only 3 more sleeps til Friday!! WOO HOO!! BFP VIBES COMING YOUR WAY!!!

Hi Sarah - Image Are you on Day 5 of the 2ww or stimming? Either way, we're happy to have you!

DandMe - I'd say have a glass of wine to celebrate, but you CAN'T! You're pregnant!! No getting around this one. ENJOY!!

Claudia - WOO HOO! FET will be here soon! Here's to a perfectly thickened lining! ;) ((sorry, i don't think i can find any blinkies for that! ;) )))

Lauren - I know, can u believe it? I've NEVER triggered this early. The earliest would be day 39 (which would be Sunday, for a Tuesday ER). Good luck at your S&S tomorrow!! Mine was switched to today so I wouldnt' have to go in tomorrow - but I go back Thursday. I know what they are talking about with the ginormous needle... It's a 1 1/2" monster that is sharply jabbed into your backside, oft times by a husband who is just a little too happy to oblige and he smirks quickly before professing how sorry he is to have bring such pain to you... ;) Fortunately, that is where the fun ends for him this time. No PIO!! WOO HOO! Those were the worst. I can handle one trigger shot. Hang in there in the snow, dear! It started here a few hours ago and we've probably got about 2" so far, but the wind is what is supposed to be bad tomorrow. BE CAREFUL going to your S&S!!! GROW FOLLIES GROW!!!!

afm - nurse called this pm and reduced my meds from 375 IU Gonal-F to 300 IU and from 150 IU Luveris to 75 IU for both today and tomorrow and my E2 is 975 today. I go back on Thursday thanks to round 2 of the snow show. I am starting to feel the FULLNESS now, so I am grateful that it will likely be Friday trigger day. AND the really good news is work is already CLOSED for tomorrow!! YAY!! SNOW DAY!! We may have no place to put the additional inches, but I'm happy to have the day off!! Plus, I feel guilty because today is DH's birthday and I made him get up (after working til 2am) and take me to my S&S this morning and then go back to work in the snow tonight. Image bad DW. So DS and I will let him sleep in in the morning and then we can celebrate the rest of the day! Image

Es -My thoughts are with you - I miss you already. I understand how hard it is, but still hope you'll be around some. I think waiting until schools out is a good idea - this process adds stress even when you're around friends - xoxoxox

Franny -Tee heee! Thanks honey, I needed a good laugh
If I remember correctly, when we gave him his gifts he said "You didnt need to do that" and I said " well you're giving us babies" gee hows that for a trade? Good luck tomorrow! I hope it goes as pain free as possible

Claudia -Oh yeah! big snow day here! I've already heard about school closings for tom! How goes the estrogen so far? I've been on estrace 3x day since Dec27 yay? and I cant complain about it -thankfully

Positive - I know the IM needles look scary, but I promise they're not as bad as they look. You'll do just fine. Oh, yes tax season - what fun
time to add up all the $ spent this year on ivf -

Ronda -Yiipppeee for getting the green light! And I love your RE almost as much as I love mine right now! :D I know its pretty much slim to none, but ooooohh the idea of quints - eek! So if you only have to pay for meds then that worked out pretty sweet 8)

Hope -So your ER will most likely be on Valentine's day? Awwwww
Yes, I think all of us have had some crazy fear of peeing out the embies
nothing says fun like hovering over a bowl straight after ET wondering?
My nurse told me a funny story (kind of) of a pt that sneezed when she first got up from ET and then burst into tears refusing to listen to them telling her that she DIDNT just sneeze out 18k - see now I can laugh at that - but the first time?

Sarah -Welcome! That was a smart move taking off work for the duration R/O ovarian torsion is no joke! Plus during the 2ww - I mean who even wants to take a chance? Anyway settle on in - these girls are the best! :D

hugs & prayers all around - xoxo

Katie; It all has to do with how fast the hcg metabolizes into the urine.. and when they implant! I know I can get early results because I always have in the past, but I am not in the norm... I did so much research and most women do NOT see bfps until at LEAST 7dp5dt, and only a light line -it was more like 9dp5dt. I wish I could have donated our extra blasts if we don't use them - our clinic doesn't allow it for women 38 and over. Don't stress about this at all, please!!
