Hi ladies,
NancyB kindly invited me to join your thread - hope you don't mind!
Quick intro from me: me and my DH have been together over 10 years and married for 6 (7 yrs in July). We started trying for a family more or less after we got married. I had a feeling from a very early stage that something wasn't quite right when every month AF arrived! About 6 months into us trying I decided to go to our GP. Did the usual tests and it showed that DH had a low sperm count. My periods are irregular (but regular for me!) but no signs of PCOS. We had the 6 months of Clomid with no success. Then we had our 2 NHS funded IVF treatments with both BFN's, then a FET with BFN and our last fresh cycle was June/July 2009, again another BFN

It seems I may have a slight problem with the thickness of my womb - only answer the unit can give us as every cycle we've had has gone fantastic and we get a great number of eggs, all good quality.
Me and DH had a well earned break from any treatment last year. We had 2 great holidays, weekends away, spending time with great friends and family and bascially enjoyed ourselves without all the stress of am I aren't I pregnant!
Well we decided that 2011 was our year to try a FET and have a baby!!
I started treatment begining of February. Unfortunately my mother-in-law was taken ill and passed away a few weeks into treatment

We decided to carry on with the treatment as she wouldn't have wanted us to give up.
I've had 2 scans both showing the lining of the womb is thickening up nicely!
We have 5 blastocyst embryos for thawing and another 5 blastcyst (from our last cycle 2009) just in case the first 5 don't suvive. So our ET is for Wed 6th April - eeek!
When i started my hormone patches I started Viarga and so far it seems to have done it's job. I have my last down reg injection on Saturday and start more tablets and pessaries and conitnue with the patches. I went for my first acupuncture session today - I did want to start it when I first started treatment but of course with our sad loss it completely went out my head.
Sorry this is such a essay but I haven't been on a thread for a long while!! haha
