Hi everybody
Nancy - congrats on being PUPO. We can prop each other up for the next two weeks.
Blady - yay for a great u/s. I'm so happy for you.
Becca - hope you're doing okay. Rypell gave you some good advice. Try not to stress out. I know it's hard.
Deft - excellent beta. You must be sooooo excited about the ultrasound. Thanks for asking about PGD. Unfortunately PGD is not an option for us with Meckel-gruber syndrome. There are 7 genes associated with the syndrome and no evidence to say that one gene is more prevalent than the other. It costs about 1000-2000 Euros to test per gene. The hospital could only afford to test one gene under our public health system and we don't have the money to pay for testing all of the genes. If we had the money to pay for testing, once the MGS gene is identified, we could do PGD. DH and I both agreed to take the risk. We've a 75% chance of a baby not affected by MGS. If i get pregnant, along with the usual stress of early pregnancy, I'll also be freaking out about the 12 wk + ultrasounds when the syndrome is most likely to be identified. Here's hoping it all turns out.
Greekchick - how you doing PUPO lady? When's your beta?
Anton - you little ray of sunshine

Hope you had a fantastic catch up with DH. A month is a long time.
Kerri - how are you feeling?
Afm - transferred our one embie this morning. It wasn't as perfect as the embies transferred in my 1st IVF cycle and FET cycle - 6 cell rather than 8. I'm holding out hope for it though. Divide little embie divide and then snuggle right down in there where it's all warm and yummy. Out of the 3 remaining embies, 2 are 5/6 cell and one is still 3/4. The embryologist will wait a few more days to see if any are suitable to freeze. I'm really hoping we get at least one frostie, just incase I don't get my BFP this time round. Fresh cycles are such a faff!! I've got the day off work today so I'm relaxing infront of the fire. It's coming into winter here in New Zealand incase you're wondering. Might go for a little stroll with the puglet in an hour or two to get some fresh air.
Fingers, toes and everything crossed fellow PUPO ladies.
