HElloooooooooooo
So glad you are all ok - really missed you all - can't believe how much.
For you all GINA Ford - I am quite a relaxed person and decided early on not to take it literally as you can stress when it does not all work according to plan and I must say I have thrown it across the room on a couple of occasions and thought maybe it would be better on the dog
To begin with there is no such thing as routine as they need little or often but when I got out of hospital I at least tried to keep her feeds on track per the book - for one and then did the same for the other. This means trying wherever possible to feed early in the morning and pack as many in the day as possible so as to get them in a more day and night routine.
Does work with twins but you have less time - I was feeding both together until Emilly had to be bottle fed at 3 wks plus! Then two weeks ago I tried to structure the sleeps more and last week was structuring thema ccording to Gina. this was because they slept all day - or too much and then would not sleep at 7pm or at night Alice was a pain like me

It does work - I do not apply everything to the letter and found you can get stressed if it does not work to the book which is really not good for anyone - try the loose principles and slot the rest in place. I ignore the lack of cuddles thing - I mean they are not machines and I have waited long enough! The bit about their last night feed being quiet is good - we turn off most of the lights but do not do it in a darkened nursery like Gina but downstairs with the tv on quiet! Yes I do go out when I need to - better to try and plan round sleep times as they sleep as soon as in pram but sometimes not always practical!
Just start the day at 7am or 6.30 am and the rest will sort of naturally fall into place - it can be hard at times and they sometimes go through changes and the book goes out the window but hey ho! I express for Emily 3 times a day and not when Gina says.
Good lucka nd fire away with the questions.
Love to all and happy shopping
