Thanks for everyone's replies. I have been to my OB two times since and he did not seem worried at all. I have not spotted or bled so far. At both visits my OB used the doppler to hear the baby's heart beat and everything seems ok so far. Fingers crossed. I will be going to have my sonogram probably ...

I too was diagnosed with a subchronic bleed at 7 weeks. I want to say that it was at least the same size as my GS if not a bit bigger. My nurse did not seem concerned at all--they didn't recommend bedrest or anything like that either. I was very concerned at first and like you I searched ...

I think mine was a bit bigger than the GS but scb ranges in different sizes and according to my tech, mine was small. My GS did grow from my 1st us so that was a good thing. I didn't think it look like a GS, it wasn't a defined circle or shape and it wasn't completely black in the middle. My nurse ...

subchronic bleed

I had my second US (7w2d) with my RE last Thurs and saw a hb of 142. Was very excited that the hb increased from my last US, 113. The tech also found another dark area on the US which was explained to me as a subchronic bleed (scb). My nurse told me that it was not uncommon for some pregnancies to ...

Since most of you here seem to be ahead of me in your cycle and after reading some of your experiences, I was especially worried about going in for my 1st OB US today. After waiting for my RE for a while, we finally saw one gestational sac, yolk and heart beat of 113! :D :D It was such a relief to ...

Wow! What great news--congratulations Molly and Labstoo.

Sorry, Ionlywant1 and Ert--maybe things are not as bad as it seems. Just hope the next visit will be good news that we all deserve. I know it's hard, but try to stay positive!

This is my first IVF and I have a BFP! :D Am awaiting for my US next Thurs. My RE told me that 24 hrs of bedrest after ivf and resume normal activities afterwards. And not to lift anything over 25lbs. Have your DH pamper you. :D I went back to work 2 days after my ivf--it helps getting my mind off ...

Sorry to hear your bad news. :( Hopefully, you'll have better luck on your FETs. I'm glad that you are trying to stay postive.

I had my 3rd beta today and it was 1927. My nurse said the number was fine and that they would like to see a 60% rise. My us is next Thurs and I am scared and ...

I'm so sorry! :( I thought since you saw the heartbeat, that was reassurance that you're heading in the right direction. This whole ivf thing is such an emotional rollercoaster. I'm so sad for you. I will be thinking of you.

Your numbers are rising nicely! My beta today was 823 and am due back Wednesday for 3rd beta. If that goes well, my u/s will be next week. I can't wait! Does your RE think you're having (at least) twins with your numbers?

Wow! CONGRATULATIONS to those with BFPs!! :D :D And thanks siouxsie for the update. There are just so many that it's hard to keep track of! But the more the better! I completely agree with you JuneBug that we still have a long way to go and I think being back to "cautiously optimistic" is exactly ...
