Ange- You are so lucky to get 6 months off!!! My work doesn't even have a maternity plan, I have to use short term disability so I only get 3 months off and I only get paid 60% of my pay for 6 weeks..the other 6 weeks are unpaid!!

Hi Ladies!

Just wanted to let you all know about this gender prediction kit that I did! It's called "intelligender" and it's supposed to guess the sex of your baby using your urine. I'm a little skeptical but since I won't be getting an ultrasound for another 5 weeks, I figured I'd invest the $30 ...

$20,000 does sound like a lot! Our IVF cost a total of $14,000 but we had to do ICSI so $10,000 of it was the treatment, $2,000 was meds and the rest was freezing of the embryos.

We were able to afford it by taking out loans from our 401k's and savings.

Good luck!

I used Abington Reproductive! We did IVF with ICIS since our problem was a male issue but I started in June 2009 and I got a BFP! I'm 15 weeks pregnant now!

Julie- I totally agree with you! This is my first pregnancy but I'm over the whole pregnancy part, I'm just really eager to see my baby! I'm also at that in between stage, where it looks more like I have a gut than looking pregnant and I'm not considered high risk so I only have monthly appointments ...

Daisy - My NT scan was abdominal but the baby wouldn't move the way she wanted so she was pushing all around for 20 mins!

I was thinking maybe all of that pushing around is what is making my thighs and legs so achey but a co worker of mine had mentioned that perhaps it is my hips widening...I ...

Daisy- are you sleeping on your side now? I am also a back sleeper and I was just wondering when you're supposed to transition to sleeping on your side? I assumed it would be further along in the pregnancy.

MonkeyGirl & Julie- Thanks for your insight on the NT scan! I'm a planner so that's why I want the scan, if there is anything wrong, I need to plan & prepare...but I also totally understand why some do not want the scan.

And MonkeyGirl- how did the ultrasound go?

I'm curious if you get an ...

Monkeygirl- wow our clinics are totally different, I've had weekly ultrasounds from week 6 to week 10! So I guess we should be happy that we have been able to see and hear our baby on a weekly basis so far.

I actually called my obgyn's office yesterday and got my appointment moved to my 12th week ...

Hi! I just wanted to tell you about my ivf experience....I think whether they decide to transfer a day 3 or a day 5 embryo depends on the clinic.

My clinic does 3 day transfers but if there aren't enough 8 cells embryos to transfer, they will go to the day 5 transfer. And I don't know if it ...
