Hi Shell

I am sooooooo excited for you both!!! I agree with Bina I would DEFINATELY go for 2 embies to be put back (when I had my 1st ICSI in October 2003, my consultant recommended putting 2 back, and freezing my other 5), like Bina says, out of 2, usually only 1 implants anyway, why does dh ...

Hi Sue

I can totally sympathise with you on the wait thing. Our hospital in Gateshead is about the same for NHS treatment. I am 39 and my time for NHS tratment is not until I am 41!!!

I took out a bank loan for the first treatment (Oct 2003) and am still paying it off, and we are about to try ...

Welcome Shellie
You will be fine honey, it is very daunting first time around, and I think because of the drugs you are more sensitive to any slight change that your body throws at you, I would imagine the uncomfortable feeling in your tummy is just the drugs doing their thing, and your ovaries ...

Hi Nickie

Let's hope they can advise you to start down regging on Wednesday, It's weird how different clinic's do things differently; I don't have a scan until 9 May, which will be 7 days AFTER I start my burserelin injections, yet you have a scan BEFORE you start your sniffers - strange ...

I too will be cycling in May, I start my burserelin injections on 3 May, this is my 2nd attempts at ICSI, first attempt was in October 2003, then FET in January, so alot more apprehensive this time around, and stressed to the max!

How about you???

Hi

God, that article will make us all fret even more!

First time around I was so sure that it would work, I was hyper and cheerful and never got stressed at all - test was a -tive.

This time around (due to start injecting on 3 May) I am stressed to the max, so we'll see!

Dagny - I am also having ...

Hi Angela

Thanks for your reply, so you start your injections for ICSI in July, I can imagine you are wishing the weeks away. I take it this is your first go at IVF? You will be fine, once the first 1 or 2 injections are over and done with it is quite straight forward after that. My dp did mine ...
