Thanks for the replies re: morning sickness.

I had acupuncture yesterday for it and it seems to have worked. It's still a struggle to find something appetizing but it is staying down. My acupuncturist said that with two more visits she can knock it out for good.

I think it's worth a try for ...

I was wondering if anyone had "late onset morning sickness." I was mildly sick during weeks 6-10 and then, at about 11 weeks, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I AM carrying twins so I know everything is magnified but I was really waiting to feel better at 12 weeks, not worse.

Of course it's a ...

Princess, have you tried the sea bands for the pukey feeling? It's just acupressure,no drugs. You can get them in most pharmacies. It sounds like you have a pretty severe case but they may help some. They worked well for me. Now I haven't had to wear them for a few days and of course I'm dreading ...

I think that as long as it's not raw fish or undercooked meat (un-pasturized cheese, I've been told, is also a good one to stay away from) it's really more about what you can personally tolerate. My first PG I couldn't eat Thai or Indian but now I want it all the time. Fried food won't necessarily ...

Hi, thought I'd join this thread after lurking and the occaisional post on other topics. I got a +ive test Aug. 4 (my birthday--woo hoo) but haven't felt 100% positive myself until the second scan yesterday. We got to hear TWO heartbeats and see two little babies rolling around. Unbelieveable after ...

The elastic sounds like it might be more comfortable than the rubber band trick. I'll look for it. Since I'm only 81/2 weeks (and that's counting the two weeks BEFORE you're actually pregnant) I feel a little funny "showing." I'm still not sure if it's the swollen overies from the drug fest or the ...

Having trouble fitting into your jeans?

I just remembered a trick I learned a while ago. If you can still get your tush into your jeans but can't quite close the button you can still wear them. Loop a rubber band (elastic band) through the button hole and hook the other end over the button.

Just thought I'd share.

Your beta test seems a few days on the early side--I wonder if that accounts for the lower hcg.

My first two beta tests were 48 hours apart--I was told that the hcg level should double or at least multiply by one and a half by the second test. (I also know from reading posts on this site that when ...

I would add apple sauce to the list below--it's also binding. Oh yeah and no milk but plain yogurt (yum) can help.

Thanks for weighing in, so far I'm still taking it. I didn't mention having a three year old to take care of full time which is part of the decision. The drug has helped me be a better mom so I think I'll stay with it for now.

I had my ET July 26, got a +-ive August 4th. I was very happy and my bb's were already starting to grow but about 4-5 days before my 6 week scan they started going back to normal (quite small) and I sunk into depression. I was sure I had lost the baby.

Yesterday I had my scan and heard TWO little ...

Wellbutrin during pregnancy

Does anyone have any info/experience/opinion about taking Wellbutrin while pregnant? I received a prescription while I was trying to get pregnant (sometime between my 3rd failed IUI and before my 1st +ive IVF). It helped a LOT. Much of my very low mood was definitely due to my battle with ...

I too was under mild sedation and don't remember a thing. Actually I did wake up for a second before they were done. I remember saying something but I don't know what. The next thing I knew I was back in the room with my husband. It wasn't painful. I was advised to take it easy for the rest of the ...

With #1 I didn't find out--I really looked forward to the surprise. I did get some weird green and yellow "non gender" gifts as clothing but really, a gift is a gift and those first 3 months pass quickly. Lots of people wait to give a gift anyway and we were blessed with many very lovely baby gifts ...

With my first pregnancy there was about a three month period where ALL I wanted to eat was chips and fries and sausage McMuffins from McDonalds. I tried to limit the McD's trips to once a week but didn't force myself to eat things I absolutely couldn't stomach (like just about any green vegetable ...
