Help!Did HPT first urine this morning and got a "faint&

My blood test is tomorrow but I wanted to prepare myself "at home" because I will receive my results at work so I did a HPT this morning when I first woke and it was a "faint" positive. I did another one about an hour later (different kind) and it was negative. Anybody have any words of wisdom for ...

Thank you to all of you for telling your stories. We went ahead and transferred back 4. I had a chance to talk to the doctor beforehand which caused me to change my mind.

My pregancy test is Nov. 27. Thank you all again.

Help!!!Should I transfer 4 embies?

Hi, I had ER on Saturday. 10 eggs, 5 fertilized. I am scheduled for ET on Tuesday (3 day transfer) I found out today 3 are good and 2 are average.

I am 40 years old. This is my second and last chance at IVF. My clinic WILL NOT transfer 5 but, because of my age, they will transfer 4. I am so scared ...

I want to know if anybody knows if your estrogen level should be at a certain number before they can do ER. I am on day 12 of stims and I have 7 follicles, they have all grown and as of ...

LisaB75,

Thank you for sharing. I, too, never thought anything about keeping caffeine out of my diet. I know when I was pregnant with my 1st two children, I was not a coffee drinker but with my 3rd child I did drink coffee until I figured out I was pregnant because just smelling it made me sick. I ...

Rouge,

Thank you for your response and congratulations. That is very hopeful. Did you stop caffeine altogether quite some time before your 2 IVF? I ask because I start my injections on the 25th and since I have drank coffee and tea up until now, I'm assuming I should stop now.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, it is all worth it so I don't have a problem giving up caffeine, I was just wanted to hear what others had to say about this.

Congratulations Cowgirl!!!!! What symptoms did you experience from your withdrawal of caffeine? Headaches?

Caffeine and IVF

I am preparing to start my 2nd IVF cycle and have read several conflicting stories regarding caffeine and the success rate of IVF. Some say no caffeine at all during and some say reduced. Does anyone out there have any input for me on this. I drink probably 2 cups of coffee every morning and 2 ...

Looking for BFP stories on 2nd IVF at 40 years of age.

Hi Everyone!!! I am preparing to start my 2nd IVF next week. I turned 40 last month and I would really like to hear some success stories. My first IVF was last year. No issues with me other than I had my tubes tied when my youngest child was born (13 years ago) and no fertility issues with my ...

usma, I didn't answer your question from your last post of whether I had any side effects from the retrieval. No, I had no side effects whatsoever. Not even cramping. Some women say they have minimal cramping.

usma,

Yes, we did assisted hatching and ICSI the 1st time and will do it again this time. They have switched one of my meds (repronex to menopur and I will take two shots of follistim this time instead of one) which will make it 5 shots a day instead of 4. The only problem the doctor saw last time ...

USMA,

My 1st attempt was last October. They were only able to retrieve 4 eggs and only 2 made it to transfer. Of course, a BFN. My husband is a real positive person and initially, he took it alot harder than I did because he was so sure it was going to be a BFP and I am the type of person who ...

Hi Everyone!! I am starting my 2nd IVF cycle. I will start my Lupron shots on the 25th. It sounds like I have the same story as a couple of you. I have three teenagers and my husband has no children. We really want to have one together. I am 40 and he is 43. I am really praying that we all get BFP ...
